Job Description

Timmons Group is currently seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain interactive web and web-based mobile applications for our growing base of amazing clients. This role is remote supporting a west coast client.

A successful Senior Software Engineer at Timmons Group will have the experience to develop and maintain and modernize full-stack solutions, positively interact with clients, and contribute to our delivery methodology and processes. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of enterprise software development experience and is excited about modernizing a legacy codebase.

A solid understanding of applications architecture and best practices for code development and deployment is also required. Projects will often utilize geospatial technologies including ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS APIs and SDKs, ArcGIS Online, open-source geospatial technologies (PostGIS, GeoServer, MapProxy, OpenLayers.js, etc.).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:

  • Work productively in a team environment, maintaining good communication with cross-functional team members throughout the project lifecycle
  • Design, develop, implement, document, deliver and maintain quality geospatial solutions
  • Analyze functional requirements and recommend adoption of new technologies, products, and services
  • Lead software architecture design and roadmap planning to modernize monolith applications into sustainable modern solutions
  • Provide pragmatic consulting to clients and internal project teams
  • Lead code reviews, promote clean code practices and mentor peers
  • Knowledgeable and capable of recommending solutions in a wide variety of technologies
  • Collaborates with project team members on requirement definition including user stories, acceptance criteria and sizing/ estimation
  • Design and utilize automation for CI/CD pipelines
  • Work within an agile delivery methodology with a cross-functional team
  • Provide exemplary customer service to all clients

Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years professional experience in application design, development, and operations
  • 3+ years of IT consulting / professional services experience, preferred experience working with public sector clients
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering software in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Pragmatic approach to software development and delivery
  • Understanding of application architecture best-practices
  • Experience with full stack development including C#, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript including utilizing a modern JS framework: Angular, React, and/or Vue
  • Extensive knowledge of .NET Framework and .NET
  • Previous experience with geospatial technologies preferred
  • Experience and deep working knowledge of database design, stored procedures, query optimization, functions, indexes and triggers
  • Interest working with cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure

Vous générez les règlements correspondants et analysez les comptes, en justifiant tous les comptes débiteurs afin d'assurer la cohérence et la conformité des opérations.

Purpose

    Requirements – Experience

    • 5+ years of full stack development experience (back to front).
    • Has been responsible for the entire lifecycle of code in multiple projects, from scratch to QA to deployment to maintenance.
    • Has experience implementing a RESTful API and an application which consumes it.
    • Is familiar with the philosophy and implementation of development automation: tests, continuous integration, cloud deployment, and frequent production releases using an Agile/SCRUM process.
    • Some DevOps experience is required.

    Requirements – Technical

    • Experienced in JavaScript including ES6, await/async, linting and front-end frameworks. We use libraries and frameworks as needed, but you need to be able to write and understand plain JS. Experience with Node and Browser based environments is required.
    • Understands REST APIs and their role in application architectures. Has used and built APIs from the ground up.
    • Experience with front end development: HTML, CSS, and familiarity with the ecosystem of related technologies (SASS, DOM). In addition, Vue (or similar framework) experience and knowledge of static site generators such as Jekyll/Hugo are helpful.
    • Some relational database experience is required. Pluses include: Experiences in relational and in-memory databases (MySQL, Postgres, Redis) as well as knowledge in generic SQL.
    • Understand how to use Git(+Hub) and GitHub Flow.
    • Some experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Heroku, or similar services.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of database development experience
    • 3+ years of application developer and/or devops experience

    • Strong logical thinker, capable of identifying issues through sound logical derivations

    Au sein des Services en ligne, l'équipe Partenaires de Plateforme, nous créons des solutions pour organiser divers événements en direct et campagnes (bêtas de jeux, programmes de parrainage, week-ends gratuits…) ainsi que pour permettre aux équipes d'Ubisoft d'atteindre nos joueurs en soutenant le processus de création et de publication de nouvelles sur toutes les plateformes.

    Le·la Chef·fe de Projet sera responsable de la supervision de la planification, de l'exécution et de la finalisation des projets qui soutiennent la stratégie de contenu pour Ubisoft Connect. Il·elle travaillera avec le·la gestionnaire de programme et des équipes transversales pour garantir que les projets sont livrés dans les délais, respectent le périmètre et le budget, tout en répondant aux normes de qualité élevées.

    Responsabilités principales :

    Planification de projet :

    • Définir le périmètre, les objectifs et les livrables du projet.
    • Créer des plans de projet détaillés, incluant les tâches, les échéances et les jalons.
    • Réaliser des analyses de faisabilité et élaborer des business cases pour les projets et leurs évolutions.
    • Travailler avec les équipes de développement pour définir des solutions, rédiger des spécifications fonctionnelles, des business cases et des analyses de faisabilité, tout en comprenant les cadres techniques.
    • Planifier et organiser le déploiement live et le lancement de nouveaux produits, outils et services dans le respect de l'écosystème technique de l'entreprise.

    Exécution de projet :

    • Diriger et motiver les équipes projet en assurant la clarté des responsabilités et des délais.
    • Collaborer avec les partenaires de développement pour s'assurer que toutes les dépendances sont prises en compte dans l'exécution du projet.
    • Suivre et surveiller la progression du projet, ajuster les plans si nécessaire.

    • Gérer les modifications du périmètre et du calendrier du projet, en assurant l'alignement des attentes des parties prenantes grâce à une communication claire et réactive.

    Gestion des parties prenantes :

    • Assurer une communication efficace et une synchronisation régulière avec les parties prenantes clés.
    • Gérer les rapports de progression et les métriques en direct du périmètre et du calendrier du projet, pour garantir l’alignement constant des attentes des parties prenantes.
    • Communiquer clairement les attentes et les mises à jour du projet à toutes les parties prenantes.
    • Répondre rapidement aux retours et préoccupations des parties prenantes.

    Gestion des risques :

    • Identifier les risques potentiels du projet et développer des stratégies d'atténuation.
    • Anticiper et résoudre tout problème ou goulot d'étranglement pouvant survenir pendant l'exécution du projet.

    Documentation de projet :

    • Maintenir une documentation complète du projet, incluant les plans, les rapports et les évaluations post-projet.
    • S'assurer que les documents de projet sont complets, à jour et correctement archivés.

    Clôture de projet :

    • Livrer des projets complets en veillant à ce qu'ils répondent aux attentes des client·e·s et de l'organisation.
    • Mener des évaluations post-projet pour identifier les leçons apprises et les axes d'amélioration.

    Qualifications

     

    • Vous possédez des capacités à coordonner, en anglais, plusieurs projets complexes impliquant des équipes de cultures différentes, où vos compétences interpersonnelles et votre esprit critique font la différence.
    • Un fort intérêt pour les jeux vidéo et une solide connaissance des technologies web sont essentiels.
    • Excellente maîtrise de l'anglais, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit.
