The Role

The Design team at Addepar shapes wealth managers’ digital experiences. By crafting and delivering intuitive, easy-to-use products, we help wealth managers grow their businesses and provide best-in-class services to their clients. We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design for our core Analysis & Reporting product. With our products today, wealth managers can design and deliver fully customised, branded reports, tailor fee structures based on the portfolios, and streamline client engagement operations. This enables wealth managers to provide superior, personalised financial advice to their end-clients with even the most sophisticated portfolios and build long-lasting, trusted relationships.

In partnership with product management, engineering, and other internal collaborators, this role will be driving the design transformation of our existing products and taking the user experience to the next level with intuitive and scalable workflows, enterprise-grade permission features, and adoption of our modern design system, Addepar Design Language.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead all design aspects of a product area to build a premium product experience within a cross-functional agile team. Achieve business outcomes.
  • Provide design vision and influence product decisions, prioritisation, strategies, and roadmaps, advised by user research and data. Champion our clients.
  • Drive multiple threads of workstreams concurrently, addressing short-term design needs, delivering value to users incrementally, while making strides towards the long-term vision.
  • Collaborate with the design system team and other design leads across Addepar's platform to craft a cohesive client experience that embody our brand.
  • Seek out and react positively to feedback from your peers and collaborators. Provide thoughtful critiques, empower, and mentor other designers on the team to do their best work.

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of experience working in the field of Product Design, Interaction Design, or UX Design.
  • A portfolio showcasing expertise in user-centered design practice and a high degree of design craftsmanship.
  • Experienced in designing web SaaS products for multi-faceted user base across a variety of segments, from small business to large enterprise.
  • Curiosity driven learner who can get up to speed on new domains and product challenges quickly.
  • Passion for systematic design, scalable information architecture, streamlined workflows, and practical problem solving.
  • Proven records of driving design and development team through successful product launches and continuous improvements.

Purpose of the Job 

At 6sense, we are looking for a highly skilled Staff Visual Designer who can shape the look and feel of our product portfolio through pragmatic but visually compelling components and pattern design. Suppose you have experience as the in-house leader of visual design for an enterprise design system. Job Description :

Responsibilities & Accountabilities 

  • Lead designing a system of UI components and patterns that are aesthetically pleasing, reusable, scalable, and accessible. 
  • Continuously refine the design system over time, considering evolving design trends and business needs. 
  • Work to understand the problems that product designers are solving and ensure the design system can accommodate those needs. 
  • Help determine when new patterns are needed or redirect product teams if an existing pattern is preferred. 
  • Establish a system of design tokens and drive their use to maintain consistency across platforms. 
  • Ensure that design system components adhere to accessibility standards, optimizing inclusivity for all users. 
  • Conduct user research when necessary to validate design choices and iterate based on feedback. 
  • Create component documentation to support team-wide adoption. 
  • Work collaboratively with designers and engineers to develop components through a structured process. 
  • Partner with content writers to ensure consistency in tone, style, and clarity across all design system patterns. 
  • Work with product teams to ensure correct use of design system components, as needed. 
  • Collaborate with engineers to build and test components, ensuring accurate and high-quality implementation. 

Educational and Experience Requirements 

Must have: 

  • Passion for creating beautiful, user-centric designs. 
  • Experience working as an in-house visual designer on one or more enterprise design systems. 
  • Deep understanding of how to continuously refine a design system over time, as needed.  
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma. 

Also, must have a portfolio (can be in the format of the design system itself) that shows: 

  • Proven ability to design UI components and patterns that are reusable and scalable 
  • Use of design tokens to maintain consistency across products 
  • Approach to accessibility.

Base Salary Range: $167,250 to 245,300. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to work location and experience. The base salary is one component of 6sense’s total compensation package for this position. Other compensation may include a bonus program or commission plan, and stock options if approved by 6sense’s board. Be part of a collaborative team focused on making the browser smarter and enhancing user productivity. Purpose of the Job
 

As the first UX Engineer fully dedicated to the 6sense design system (6DS), you will help build an enterprise-level design system that elevates our products and improves team efficiency. In addition to acting as the technical liaison between UX and Engineering, you will deliver design system components that are easy for designers and developers to use. All of our engineers will continue to contribute to 6DS alongside their designer counterparts, but this front-end engineering role will play a unique role in helping to seamlessly bring together the concerns of both development and design. 

This is not a designer or project manager role. If you are a Senior Frontend Engineer with experience leading efforts within a Design System team to plan, code, document, and deliver components, then this may be a great opportunity for you. 

Responsibilities & Accountabilities 

  • Build reusable, single-source-of-truth (SSOT), accessible UI components in React, including design tokens and code-focused Storybook documentation.  
  • Ensure components are built for scalability, so that they can be extended as needed over time.  
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between design, development, and product management to ensure the design system meets cross-functional user needs.  
  • Understand the why behind proposed component designs and assess technical feasibility. Scope development efforts.  
  • Communicate component changes and updates to the wider Tech   
  • Work closely with product engineers to help them correctly implement SSOT components in our products. 
  • Contribute to design system project planning, including estimating time to build components and effort required to implement components across the platform.  
  • Help review incoming requests to add new components and extend existing components.  
  • As needed, develop prototypes and conduct user testing to gather feedback and iterate on design components and patterns.

Educational and Experience Requirements 

A portfolio or live design system that showcases:  

  • Your experience building and documenting SSOT UI components as a senior member of a design system team. Must show expertise in React, implementing/managing/using Storybook, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. 
  • How you approach building accessibility UI components. 
  • How you implemented design tokens and how you work in Figma developer tools 

Competencies and Behaviors 

  • Clear expertise in front-end engineering and building SSOT design system components. 
  • Deep understanding of usability principles. 
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to drive coordination across cross-functional teams. 
  • Strong English writing skills to facilitate clear, concise component documentation. 

 

Base Salary Range: $137,303 to $201,385. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to work location and experience. The base salary is one component of 6sense’s total compensation package for this position. Other compensation may include a bonus program or commission plan, and stock options if approved by 6sense’s board.    3. Innovation et Amélioration Continue :

  • Réaliser des audits réguliers du Design System pour identifier les opportunités d’optimisation et d’évolution;
  • Encadrer et coacher les designers UI et les membres de l’équipe sur les meilleures pratiques en matière d'UI et d’utilisation du Design System;
  • Organiser des sessions de formation et des ateliers pour promouvoir l’adoption et la compréhension du Design System au sein de l’entreprise.

Qualifications

  • Baccalauréat en marketing numérique, commerce en ligne ou TI;
  • Minimum sept (7) années d’expérience en design UI/UX, avec une expérience significative dans la gestion et le développement de Design Systems;
  • Maîtrise des outils de design (Figma) ainsi que des technologies web (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) et des principes de développement front-end;

   1. Définir la vision du produit 

  • Analyser les besoins utilisateurs pour comprendre les attentes de nos clients. 
  • Établir une veille continue du marché et des meilleures pratiques pour identifier des opportunités d’évolution. 
  • Identifier les requis en collaboration avec les différents contributeurs. À ce titre, établir des relations de confiance avec toutes les parties prenantes. 
  • Animer des groupes de travail et mobiliser les expertises internes (UX designer, PO, architectes, analystes d’affaires, …) pour déterminer les solutions à mettre en œuvre. 
  • Élaborer une vision claire et inspirante du produit aligné avec la stratégie globale de l’équipe numérique et les objectifs d’affaire. 

   2. Établir et gérer la feuille de route 

  • Créer et mettre à jour la feuille de route du tunnel d’achat en ligne et la communiquer efficacement aux diverses parties prenantes. 
  • Prioriser les nouvelles fonctionnalités ou les évolutions de fonctionnalité existantes en fonction de la valeur ajoutée pour les utilisateurs et l’entreprise tout en assurant la rentabilité des portefeuilles d’évolution numérique. 
  • Planifier avec les responsables de livraison le développement des nouvelles fonctionnalités et s’assurer de la tenue des délais. Fournir toute la documentation nécessaire au bon développement des nouvelles fonctionnalités. 
  • Suivre l’avancement des développements et aider à ajuster les solutions et les priorités si nécessaires. 
  • S’assurer de l’adéquation et de la qualité des fonctionnalités livrées. 

   3. Évaluer la performance du produit sous sa responsabilité 

  • S’assurer de la performance de toutes les nouvelles fonctionnalités livrées et de leur impact sur la performance globale du produit sous sa responsabilité. 
  • S’assurer du suivi de la valeur livrée, avec des indicateurs pertinents pour suivre l’avancement des feuilles de route, des projets, des axes d’amélioration, des risques et mesurer l’atteinte des objectifs fixés. 
  • Engager les actions nécessaires pour rétablir la performance du produit sous sa responsabilité si des actions tierces entrainaient une perte de performance. 
  • Restituer régulièrement la performance du produit sous sa responsabilité et faire la promotion du travail et des réalisations des collaborateurs permettant la réalisation de la feuille de route.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 ans d'expérience dans la conception de produits numériques 
  • Expérience avérée dans le développement de projets d’envergure au sein d’un environnement matriciel et agile

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Product Manager to drive the definition and development of the various communication channels we use within our roadside assistance platform. Your job will be to work with engineering, operations, data science & analytics, and design to develop features and experiences that enable the efficient delivery of exceptional service to millions of stranded motorists per year.
