TherapyNotes is searching for a Systems Architect Engineer to join our growing team of cloud-first technology enthusiasts.  The right candidate has an innovative, entrepreneurial instinct for identifying value and pragmatic solutions that drive the growth of the business.  

Responsibilities

  • Identifies, evangelizes and architects solutions to problems across the enterprise comprised of both Windows and Linux workloads in an Azure cloud environment
  • Provide problem analysis and 3rd level support of the SaaS application
  • Increases the security, availability, reliability and scalability of the SaaS platform
  • Increases the efficiency and effectiveness of the technology teams through the implementation of innovative solutions and processes
  • Establish relationships with key technology stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs
  • Ensures all solutions and operational activities adhere to the security and operating policies established by the organization
  • Identifies opportunities for improving service delivery or the health of the environment through process improvement and/or continual development of documentation and runbooks

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent
  • 12+ years of experience managing high-volume SaaS products in a software development organization
  • Expert in hybrid and cloud-based compute, storage, and containerization solutions (Azure, Kubernetes preferred)
  • Expert with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies, and variable workload (container) orchestration (Terraform, Ansible preferred)
  • Expert in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery strategies and technologies
  • Expert in Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Microsoft365, Azure AD/AADDS, Active Directory Domain Services, Windows 11, Windows Server 2019+, DHCP, DNS
  • Expert in automation and scripting languages (e.g. Python, SQL, PowerShell)
  • Expert in Linux server systems administration such as RedHat, CentOS, and Debian
  • Expert in traditional and PaaS web application technologies such as Azure Web Apps, IIS, application load balancing
  • Expert with the Agile methodology, DevOps, Scrum, ITSM and/or ITIL principles

As an Enterprise Solutions Architect Team member you will be asked to work with a variety of accounts where you must lead very skilled engineering staff of our customers. You will work with our product engineering teams to ensure any functional gaps and opportunities for improvement are clearly articulated and managed between our accounts and our engineering team. Our joint team of highly experienced ESAs are periodically found solutioning in C#, Java, SQL, NodeJS, JavaScript, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform and many more. The Enterprise Solution Architect is a combination of an infrastructure, automation expert, coder, trusted advisor and cloud services authority who will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of our monitoring solutions executed through a well-defined, repeatable services engagement model. Our ESA team members perform most of their responsibilities remotely at a home office and will have moderate to minimal travel from time to time.
 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree required or additional 10 years of relevant Information Technology experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • 12+ years of real world experience in software and/or solution engineering
  • 5+ years experience leading and consulting in large Enterprise/Corporate environments a must

Preferred Requirements

  • Prior Experience using Dynatrace or managing APM solutions a major plus
  • Solid understanding of a variety of Cloud technologies and offerings such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud with at least expertise and/or certification in one while having an aptitude and appetite to learn others quickly.
  • Solid understanding of network topologies, routing, network security, security protocols, routing, load balancers and capacity planning
  • Solid understanding of a Container based solutions using Kubernetes and similar products. Service mesh experience a plus.
  • Outstanding communicator and writing skills a must with the ability to consult and lead multi-day meetings to assess technologies and processes.
  • Solid understanding of Application and/or Infrastructure Monitoring & Observability
  • Develop automation and repeatable processes/scripts to enable solutions that deploy, manage, configure, scale and monitor Client applications is a plus
  • Solid understanding of solutions using Chef, Puppet, Ansible, GoCD, Jenkins, TFS and similar products. 
  • Solid understanding of PaaS concepts and implementations such as Cloud Foundry, OpenShift, BlueMix or similar offerings.
  • At least 7+ years of prior development experience in at least one object-oriented language. Solid understanding of byte-code based runtimes, i.e. Java, .NET
  • Solid to Expert hands on experience with SQL a plus
  • Prior experience with enterprise logging technologies and strategies
  • Prior hands-on experience providing troubleshooting expertise for performance and other issues. 
  • Prior experience in streamlining a development lifecycle with automated provisioning and testing of resources. 
  • Demonstrable Enterprise Architecture planning and design skills. Expert authoring Diagrams is desired.
  • Expert analytic, organization, presentation, customer service and facilitation skills. 
  • Ability to gather customer requirements and translate those requirements into short and long term deliverables while working with Project Managers and Directors
  • Comfortable with Software Development Life Cycles, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment. 
  • Solid understanding and experience working with high availability, disaster recovery designs, high performance, multi-data center systems and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Considered an expert in a combination of database and platform application services is a plus 
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services
  • Preference will be given to candidates that also have web applications, database, and support skills 

Compensation and rewards:

  • The base salary range for this role is $160,000 - $205,000. When determining your salary, we consider your experience, skills, education, and work location.

What’s the role?

As a Dynatrace Solution Engineer, you will be a key member of the Dynatrace sales engine and will be responsible for providing excellent technical support to the sales team. Within this exciting role, you will be responsible for executing great demos which demonstrate the Dynatrace unique approach in solving the customer’s pain, executing and managing POCs onsite and remote, building key relationships with Dynatrace’s customers and completing RFIs & RFPs. About you:

Responsibilities:

  • Evangelize Dynatrace’s product offerings during international trade shows and at key customer account meetings to promote new and expanded business
  • Partner with sales representatives to identify new sales opportunities as well as incremental sales opportunities within existing accounts
  • As part of the solution engineering team participate in proof of concept (PoC) creation and cloud architecture discussions, leading the technical solution evaluation portion in support of sales opportunities either directly or through channel partners for multiple POCs
  • Present Dynatrace’s vision to our customers C-suite executives
  • Provide technical guidance in the Discovery, Solution Evaluation, and Solution Proposal stages of the opportunity sales cycle
  • Present on-stage demonstrations providing insight and context to our customers during key marketing events. Either at Dynatrace sponsored industry events or partner sponsored events, ensure key demonstrations are delivered by you or a team member at demonstration booths
  • Gather, qualify and provide feedback from customers to Product Management to improve Dynatrace’s market share and meet the market needs
  • Build best practices and share knowledge the team to continuously develop and enhance both your personal and team capabilities
  • Work with local Sales and Sales Engineering leadership to identify learning/ development opportunities for you and the local team to maintain Dynatrace’s leadership position in the market
  • Create and modify Dynatrace template presentations, in order to attend the specific demands of each customer
  • Not only work with internal sales team, but also with partners, supporting their team in the customers and being a technical point of contact for them (trusted advisor/technical coach)

Position might be filled at a higher level based on candidate experience.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Proven ability to complete projects in a timely manner while clearly measuring progress
  • Strong data and software engineering fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, data modeling, ETL/ELT) 
  • Experience using statistical methods to analyze and interpret data
  • Strong understanding and demonstrated experience with at least one popular programming language (.NET or Java). Python preferred.

The base salary hiring range for this position is $92,300 to $160,800. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.

THE ROLE

Our tech stack is primarily Ruby on Rails using PostgreSQL, all hosted on Heroku. We use Terraform to manage our infrastructure and encourage teams to be involved in how we deploy and run our code in Production.

We are looking for a Principal Site Reliability Engineer who is well versed in building cloud technologies in a secure manner, has an automation mindset and is an ardent follower of the SRE discipline. If this sounds like you, then our team will benefit from your skillset!

 

What you’ll be doing…

  •  Enhance the company’s SaaS infrastructure security protocols.
  • Collaborate across the organization to design, build and operationalize SaaS services conforming to various security standards like FedRAMP, SOC2, ISO etc.
  • Participate in architecture, security, and operations reviews.
  • Lead design reviews and buildout of secure systems for delivering various SaaS services with 99.99% uptime.
  • Design, automate, test, and monitor the use of cloud native technologies as a foundation for a service platform.

  • Identify and automate measurement of operations SLAs and SLOs. 
  • Triage incident response, document SOPs, Runbooks, and train NOC team members

Qualities you possess…

Your Role

Hudl’s Front-End Platform team accelerates web development for our 400+ member product team, and improves the web experience for our 8M+ customers. We’re looking for a Software Engineer II with front-end experience to expand the platform.

As an Engineer, you’ll:

  • Develop.You’ll help expand Hudl’s front-end platform and make it the standard across Hudl. Whether it’s discovery work, documentation, design reviews or implementation, you’ll do what it takes to ensure a robust, performant, and easy-to-use platform that’s also maintainable, scalable, accessible and secure.
  • Serve as a consultant.With your general expertise in front-end development, and knowledge of Hudl’s front-end platform in particular, you’ll support teams performing front-end work by answering questions, reviewing pull requests, participating in design reviews, and providing feedback on project plans.

Our priority is to hire someone for this role who lives near our office in Lincoln, Nebraska. However, we’re also open to U.S. remote candidates in Central or East Coast time zones. The following U.S. states are eligible: AL, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MA, MI, MN, MO, NH, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA or WI. We’re not currently considering relocation.

Must-Haves

  • Front-end experience. You have at least three years of experience developing front-ends with TypeScript and React. You have played a key role in the development of medium to large scale web applications. You’re familiar with design systems and their role in ensuring a consistent, intuitive and accessible experience for users.
  • Effective communication skills. You’re able to make your point effectively, both verbally and in writing whether it’s: sharing your perspectives in a meeting; creating documentation to help developers build on the front-end platform; answering questions in Slack about build issues; or contributing technical content for a software design review.
  • Growth mindset. You’re willing to dive in to new areas and wear different hats to broaden your experiences and ensure your team is successful. You also seek out mentorship and feedback to hone your craft.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience working with front-end infrastructure. You have AWS and Terraform experience and can help the team expand its Jamstack environment, or server-side rendering infrastructure, to support new use cases.
  • Passionate. You’re all about concepts like Jamstack, component-driven development, micro-frontends, and monorepos. You love expanding your knowledge with tools like Playwright, Storybook, Chromatic and Turborepo. You’ve built front-ends using many of these concepts and tools, and have helped others adopt them.
  • A visionary. You’re excited by the idea of advancing the starting line for other product team members by delivering and supporting a solid platform for them to build on.
  • Commitment to mentorship. You recognize the importance mentorship plays in a company’s long-term success, and you seek out opportunities to share knowledge and level up others in your areas of expertise.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is displayed below. Where a candidate is placed within this base salary range is determined by experience, skills, education and training required for the job as well as our internal pay equity.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of IT systems, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.

In this role, you will:
  • Administer and manage O365 environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Oversee collaboration tools, with a focus on email and Microsoft Teams, to enhance communication and productivity.
  • Champion the testing and implementation of new features in collaboration tools, driving user adoption and engagement.
  • Manage and maintain Windows server environments, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
  • Provide cloud expertise in either Azure or AWS, supporting cloud-based solutions and infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline IT processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT systems and solutions.
  • Act as a resource for others at peer or above level; may lead projects with limited risks and resource requirements
  • Solve complex problems by taking a new perspective on developing solutions; exercises judgement based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related/connected teams; guided by broad guidelines and policies

Your background: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT systems engineering or a related role.
  • Proven experience with O365 administration.
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools such as email, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Solid knowledge of identity management systems including Active Directory and Entra ID.
  • Solid knowledge of Windows server administration.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have: 

  • Experience with hybrid identity management and migrations.
  • Knowledge of email protection mechanisms.
  • Working knowledge of virtualization technologies.
  • Experience with SQL Server administration.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
