The Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager with a strong background in healthcare B2B and B2B2C strategies to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our products by translating market insights into actionable strategies, ensuring alignment across departments, and communicating our value proposition to customers and stakeholders.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Hawaii.

What You’ll Do

  • Market and Customer Understanding
    • Conduct market research to deeply understand the healthcare industry, including key trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs
    • Identify and segment target audiences across B2B and B2C channels, developing buyer personas that reflect their unique challenges and goals
  • Product Positioning and Messaging
    • Develop and articulate clear, compelling product positioning and messaging tailored to different stakeholders, including healthcare employers and consumers
    • Collaborate with product management to ensure alignment between product capabilities and market needs
  • Go-to-Market Strategy
    • Design and execute company-wide go-to-market plans for new product launches, features, and enhancements, ensuring timely delivery and cross-functional alignment
    • Define KPIs for product marketing initiatives and track performance against objectives
  • Sales Enablement
    • Partner with sales teams to develop effective tools, resources, and training materials, such as pitch decks, one-pagers, and case studies
    • Communicate value propositions and differentiation to sales teams to enable success in B2B2C environments
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with product management, engineering, sales, and customer success to align strategies and drive cohesive execution
    • Act as the voice of the customer in internal discussions, influencing product development and strategy decisions
  • Demand Generation and Customer Engagement
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to design campaigns that drive demand among both B2B partners and end consumers
    • Support customer retention strategies by gathering feedback, monitoring satisfaction, and refining messaging as needed

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, with a focus on B2B and B2B2C models in the healthcare sector
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare market, including employer and patient needs
  • Proven experience with market research, positioning, and go-to-market strategy development
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of creating impactful marketing materials
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret marketing and sales metrics
  • Familiarity with product management processes and agile methodologies is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, healthcare management, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus

As the first product marketing hire, this role will own DISCOs go-to-market approach, refine the product positioning, and create strategies for product adoption, use-case expansion, and customer retention. Additional Information:

Minimum salary of $169,200 to maximum salary of $208,454 + equity + benefits.

The range provided is NextRoll’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The Team

At UserTesting, the product marketing team is responsible for driving revenue growth and product adoption through close collaboration with GTM and product teams. We specialize in messaging and positioning, market and competitive analysis, content creation, and go-to-market planning, to ensure our products resonate with target audiences.  With a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous optimization, we play a pivotal role in positioning our solutions as market leaders and supporting the overall growth objectives of the company.

The Opportunity

The Sr Product Marketing Manager, Strategic Audiences will work closely with the field and marketing organizations to craft campaigns, enablement programs, positioning and messaging,  and content designed to drive awareness and interest from specific buyer personas, initially focusing on executive buyers.  

  • Become the subject matter expert for UserTesting’s different buyer audiences, with a focus on senior executives and how to engage them throughout the sales process
  • Develop campaigns and sales plays designed to drive awareness and interest amongst specific audiences
  • Partner with the Enablement team to create internal training focused on educating Sales and Customer Success teams on our audiences. Enabling them to clearly articulate the value of our solutions 
  • Partner with our Industry Solutions team to create compelling narratives for audiences within specific verticals.
  • Drive a common understanding of our buyers within the Product and Engineering organization
  • Partner with the Marketing team to drive events and other initiatives focused on specific audiences

What we're looking for

  • Ability to create campaigns, sales plays, and enablement programs targeting specific audiences  
  • Ability to work well cross-functionally
  • Proven track record in crafting compelling positioning and messaging.
  • Strong public speaking skills and experience presenting to large stage audiences
  • Experience developing visually interesting and compelling presentations, exemplary demos, as well as persuasive sales tools and collateral
  • Ability to work well with field sales and customer success teams
  • Advanced/senior level experience in product marketing, ideally within enterprise SaaS.
