Myers-Holum is expanding operations to India, and is actively seeking experienced Senior Consultants with strong data warehousing and business intelligence experience to play a pivotal role in the expansion of the India Practice.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test custom data warehouse and BI solutions for Myers-Holum clients using the Oracle NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW) platform
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Develop custom data integration solutions to ingest data from multiple sources (cloud and on-premise) using various data integration / data pipelining tools, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), and Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW)
• Lead the product implementation, from start to finish acting as a trusted advisor to the stakeholders and end users
• In addition to meeting with the client during implementation phase, also run product training, and technical workshops with the client/end users
• Contribute to various internal MHI initiatives including resource mentorship and ongoing education

Qualifications and Skills

• 8+ years of relevant professional experience
• 4+ years experience with data management using Oracle or other relational database
• 4+ years experience with data warehouse and data integration projects, using ETL / data integration / data pipelining tools
• Proficiency with at least one cloud or on-premise data integration / data pipelining tool, such as Fivetran, Stitch, Talend, Glue, Nexla, Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator
• Proficiency in at least one version of SQL: Oracle (preferred), SQLServer, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake
• Experience with at least one of the following BI tools: Oracle OBIEE, OAC, Looker, PowerBI, Qlikview, Tableau
• Experience with using REST APIs and/or GraphQL APIs to get data from cloud data sources is preferred
• Knowledge of ERP data and business processes
• Business analysis skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

This role will be a part of our Developer Experience Team at Gusto! The Developer Experience Team is a small but growing engineering team that empowers the 200+ Product Engineers at Gusto. The ideal Senior Software Engineer will be able to understand the needs of Gusto Product Engineers, and build the appropriate tools and services. In this role as SDET level II, you will be a highly contributing member of a core engineering team working to build the LivePerson products offering from the ground up and expertly integrating it into the existing LivePerson offering. We are looking for an SDET IIto develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. The responsibilities include understanding system requirements, designing and implementing tests and in some cases debugging and defining corrective actions. This also includes creating a test framework and/or integrating with other test frameworks. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)

You will: 

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

You have:

• 4+ Years QA experience
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance
• Good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Must have Programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Relational or non relational databases experience, including MySQL and Cassandra.
• Self-starter, with ability to perform QA Duties with minimal supervision.
• Experience testing REST based API’s
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases

• 3+ years experience building commercial software in a modern programming language. Experience in Python is necessary, with additional Ruby or Golang knowledge beneficial
• Thorough understanding of and experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, end to end testing and functional testing
• Comfortable in Linux/Unix-like environments, CI/CD pipeline for development and deployments, monitoring applications and AWS
• Able to clearly express opinions on product design, while respecting the thoughts and opinions of their peers
