As Project Manager – Fiber Engineering and Construction you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lead and program manage a significant portion of a $2B fiber network build and upgrade to 3M+ prems  
  • Manage all aspects of the network design, engineering, wire center and outside plan build and related strategies and plans 
  • Direct local engineering teams and infrastructure services providers in all build design strategies and deployment scheduling and requirements
  • Management performance, resource requirements and augmentation related to the fiber build program with both material OEMs and infrastructure services providers
  • Participate cross functionally with the Go to Market team on strategy for all new fiber-based voice and data product offerings

  • Participate with the business process owner team in the design and development of newly developed and deployed network inventory, engineering, construction, and related build management systems

  • Timely, organized documentation.  Record keeping must be accurate and thorough.

  • Write, format, and edit clear, concise content that meets the target audience's needs, adhering to style guidelines and documentation standards.

What You Will Be Doing:

Qualifications

Level of Education and Discipline:

A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent education, training or experience in Engineering, Computer Science or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Amount of Experience:

Equivalent years of education and training, plus ten (10) or more years related experience, including five (5) or more as a lead or equivalent.

Certifications:

ITIL technical certifications desired. CISA, CISM, CISSP or CIPP desired.

Type of Experience:
