What you’ll do:

  • Act as the primary frontend developer, handling all UI related requirements, updates, and new UI features.
  • Build and optimize user-friendly UI components, such as interactive grids and arrays, that display data in an organized and actionable format.
  • Communicate consistently with customers, ensuring high-touch engagement and clear updates even through complex or evolving requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and accurately translate complex business logic into effective front-end solutions.
  • Independently troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, ensuring efficient and reliable UI performance.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • You have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree + 4 years of relevant experience as a Front-End Developer
  • C# and JavaScript Proficiency: Strong experience in C# and JavaScript for frontend development.
  • .NET Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with .NET Framework is essential.
  • Experience with .NET MAUI and Blazor: Knowledge of .NET MAUI and Blazor is a plus, as recent UI enhancements leverage these technologies.
  • Independent Problem-Solving and Ownership: Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and take full ownership of projects without needing step-by-step guidance.

Overview

The Role: Senior Data Engineer

As a member of our data engineering team, you'll deliver high quality work while solving challenges that impact the whole or part of the team's data architecture. You'll update yourself with recent advances in Big data space and provide solutions for large-scale applications aligning with team's long term goals. Your work will help resolve complex problems with identifying root causes, documenting the solutions, and implementing Operations excellence (Data auditing, validation, automation, maintainability) in mind. Communicating your insights with leaders across the organization is paramount to success.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, architect and implement best-in-class Data Warehousing and reporting solutions
  • Lead and participate in design discussions and meetings
  • Mentor data engineers and analysts
  • Design, automate, build, and launch scalable, efficient and reliable data pipelines into production using Python
  • Build real-time data and reporting solutions
  • Design, build and enhance dimensional models for Data Warehouse and BI solutions

  • Advanced skills with Python and SQL are a must
  • Experience with one or more MPP databases(Redshift, Bigquery, Snowflake, etc)

  • Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures and algorithms

  • Develop and deliver training and educational assistance to prospects and customers.
  • Conduct research and solve problems surrounding new solutions and unique integration scenarios.
  • Document customer expectations and order flows to clearly outline the known current state and the desired future state.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Signifyd Implementation Services and Customer Success teams to provide the best possible on-boarding experience for customers.
  • Lead proof-of-concept discussions and design to reinforce Signifyd’s position as the market leader.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical position, ideally in SaaS 
  • 3+ years of experience in customer-facing sales/pre-sales environments.
  • Strong independent work ethic.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations, develop associated action plans and lead peers towards achieving key objectives.
  • Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Excellent presentation skills virtually and in-person.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong technology tool skills (Slack, Looker, Excel, Google Suite, LucidChart, Confluence, Salesforce.com, etc.).
  • Experience working with JSON and APIs.
