About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Group FP&A Analyst to join us as a crucial member of the Group FP&A team, reporting into the Group FP&A Manager. The Snr. Group FP&A Analyst will be responsible for our weekly revenue reporting and supporting the Group FP&A team in co-ordination and preparation of the global budget, forecasting and strategic planning cycles. The Group FP&A team is instrumental to the success of Charlotte Tilbury, it is a global function which is key to driving processes, aiding company decision making, delivering quality analysis, reporting and insight to Executives.

As a Senior Group FP&A Analyst you will

  • Timely and accurate delivery of weekly sales report
  • Support the co-ordination and delivery of the global annual budget and quarterly re-forecasts
  • Work with the Group FP&A Manager to deliver the 5-year business plan update
  • Ownership of the preparation of monthly management reporting presentation deck and Board packs
  • Being a storyteller, through producing visual reports with commentary and insights
  • Ownership of Global Capital Expenditure tracker, monitoring spend against latest forecast, understanding and challenging variances and communicating results
  • Ownership of global reporting templates for wider-finance team to drive consistency and visibility across regions
  • Collaborate and build strong relationships across Group and Regional finance teams
  • Continuously seek to improve processes, drive efficiencies and improve the quality of deliverables to support the needs of a growing business
  • Ad-hoc projects and analysis as required

About you

  • Newly Qualified Accountant– ACA/CIMA/ACCA equivalent
  • Previous experience in Retail/FMCG desirable
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience of building and working with models, reports and large data sets
  • Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience using Anaplan (or a similar forecasting system) desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible & proactive, with curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise workload effectively within a fast paced, scaling business

You have:

  • At least 3 years of finance experience in corporate finance/FP&A or related finance/analytical role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Experience with Excel and Google Sheets
  • Data driven mindset with track record of successful financial modeling and analysis
  • Experience working with financial tools such as Hyperion, Workforce Planning, and ERP systems

You're familiar with financial systems and tools (e.g. Excel/Sheets, financial planning software, etc), experience working with large datasets using tools like SQL, Python, etc, and experience with accounting software (Quickbooks, Netsuite, Intacct).

SALARY INFO ????

The Senior FP&A Analyst role may span a range of experience and expertise. Through our interview process, we will review your background, local market data, and use a mix of technical and qualitative assessments to determine where you fall in our range. We will talk about compensation in our first conversation and be transparent throughout the process about which level we think is the best match for you in our organization.

Our starting salaries for this role range from $84,000-$130,000 per year. The salary range does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary, benefits, and company stock options.

Overview 

The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will be responsible for a wide variety of analytical and planning tasks including: revenue planning, expense budgeting, capacity planning, forecasting, general financial analysis, as well as directly supporting our internal business units. Most importantly, you will be responsible for maintaining foundational responsibilities of how we develop, communicate, and analyze financial information, becoming part of a trusted advisory team to the entire organization, and building on the trust the organization has in the finance department. 

What you’ll do 

  • Partner with the Director of FP&A to lead the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
  • Manage all budget and forecast updates related to assigned departments in Electric’s financial planning tool, Anaplan
  • Conduct thorough variance analysis by comparing actual financial performance to budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, offering actionable insights to drive business decisions
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models that evaluate business scenarios and revenue projections to support strategic initiatives
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with senior leaders through an ongoing dialog around their business unit and financial needs
  • Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide insights into business performance, assisting leadership in making informed decisions
  • Present financial analyses, findings, and recommendations to senior management, clearly conveying complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
  • Assist in the preparation of executive-level presentations and financial reporting for leadership, board meetings, and investors
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and adherence to GAAP standards
  • Review and approve vendor spend requests to ensure they are within budget and meet AP guidelines
  • Take a leadership role in cross-functional projects aimed at optimizing processes, enhancing financial systems, and improving data accuracy.

Who you are

  • 5+ years of experience in an FP&A role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA and knowledge of GAAP standards a plus but not required
  • Exhibit superior ownership of responsibilities and delivery of final work product
  • Ability to make sound financial & business decisions with demonstrated ability to present complex data in clear, compelling, and summarized formats non-finance professionals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact within all levels of the organization
