The Role

Modern Health is looking for a Data Analyst to join our Analytics team. The role reports into our Manager of Analytics and will work cross-functionally with our Go To Market teams as their dedicated partner for all things data.

In this role, you will identify which metrics matter and how to measure them, implement them in our database, and report out via Looker. You will own client reporting and partner closely with Client Success to understand current gaps and plan for future development of the platform. You will meet with your cross functional stakeholders, Client Success, Marketing, and Sales, regularly in order to gather their needs and unblock them with data. In addition to instrumenting the business, you will keep an eye out for opportunities and partner with senior analytics team members on strategic analyses, including developing the hypothesis, performing the analysis, and recommending action.

What You’ll Do

For candidates based in the US, the salary range for this position is $130,000 to $170,000 USD. For candidates based in Canada, the salary range for this position is 138,000 to 165,000 CAD.We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary- therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. What You’ll Do

  • Drive the creation of key performance indicators, data collection techniques, reporting, and analyses that measure the performance of Growth Marketing and Lifecycle Marketing campaigns.
  • Distill user insights and campaign analyses into cohesive narratives and presentations for presentation across the company.
  • Advise marketing teams (mobile, web, online/offline advertising, brand, product development) as the knowledge “go to” resource for marketing data.
  • Partner closely with the Data Engineering team to provide thought leadership and detailed requirements for data needs.
  • Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create interactive and user-friendly reports.
  • Develop/implement models to improve marketing measurement, attribution and spend optimization

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years as a Marketing Data Analyst with marketing and paid user acquisition data and analytics experience in consumer internet, mobile app, or digital product firm.
  • Demonstrated implementation and utilization of user tracking, click stream event platforms, and other paid audience analytics technologies. (Amplitude, Google Analytics, Appsflyer)
  • Strong hands on data wrangling and reporting experience with large and complex data sets utilizing SQL, Python / R or equivalent using cloud data technologies like Redshift, Athena, and Snowflake..
  • Experience in delivering enterprise Data and Business Intelligence reporting. (Quicksight, Tableau, Qlick, Looker, or equivalent)
  • Experience gathering, distilling, and providing requirements to technical engineering and data teams.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field.

We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst  to join Monzo’s ever growing, high performing Risk & Compliance team! Primary Responsibilities

  • Play an integral role in creating and analyzing profit and loss statements for our branches.
  • Partner with operations to facilitate deeper understanding of their earnings. 
  • Analyze monthly branch financials and identify potential challenges and opportunities for increasing profitability.
  • Develop new processes with financial data including but not limited to forecasting, trend analysis, and other reporting.
  • Design new dashboards to empower our branches with improved financial insights.

Requirements as a Financial Data Analyst

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship
  • 3+ years of experience focused on data analysis
  • Advanced SQL experience required (CTEs, joins, subqueries, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
  • Corporate finance exposure preferred: forecasting, reporting, and analysis experience, a keen understanding of financial statements and financial data
  • Expert-level Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills 
  • Ability to swiftly extract key insights from data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of an analytical language like Python, R, SAS, SPSS, etc. preferred

The Impact U will make:

  • Report to our Senior Director, Data Analytics and Operational Excellence

  • Tier 1:$130,000 - $160,000 
  • Tier 2: $115,000 - $145,000

How you will make a difference:

  • Measure the performance of marketing campaigns, build ad hoc custom reports, and analyze anomalies and trends.
  • Preparation of analytical reports and dashboards (including visualization) for the marketing team.

  • Strong knowledge of app attribution tools commonly used in the mobile advertising industry.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning and statistics techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical findings into clear business recommendations.
  • In-depth understanding of digital marketing strategies including down funnel analysis, as well technical knowledge of iOS and Android marketing analysis to tailor strategies for both platforms.
  • Experience working with data visualization tools
  • Experience with setting up and managing event tracking in mobile apps. Especially with a focus on SKAN, Firebase, Meta etc.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills to work closely with other data professionals and cross-functional teams.

  • Define and execute recurring and ad hoc performance reports.
