As the AI Solution Architect at Assent, you will lead the adoption and strategic integration of off-the-shelf AI tools, prioritizing AI-as-a-service models (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Salesforce Agentforce) to enable transformative outcomes across Assent’s operations. Your role will be pivotal in enabling cross-functional teams to leverage AI capabilities effectively, from hands-on implementation to training and governance. Focusing on the practical integration of pre-trained models, you will guide API configurations, manage vendor relationships, and provide the enablement support needed to drive measurable impact across Assent’s operations.

  • Identify and evaluate third-party AI models for Assent’s strategic objectives, ensuring the selected tools deliver measurable value and align with our business needs.

  • Assess the alignment of pre-built models with specific business needs, from customer support to sales enablement.

  • Oversee API integration and configuration for smooth and scalable implementation.

  • Reduce development time by matching business requirements with the right off-the-shelf tools, allowing Assent’s teams to deploy AI quickly and efficiently.

  • Equip business teams to use AI models effectively and independently.

  • Develop and deliver workshops, documentation, and best practices to empower non-technical teams.

  • Guide teams on leveraging tool-specific features, such as choosing between direct interactions vs. API integrations for optimized performance.

  • Foster self-service AI adoption across Assent, enabling teams to seamlessly incorporate AI into their workflows.

  • Manage relationships with AI-as-a-service vendors and oversee tool integrations.

  • Evaluate AI vendor offerings, manage technical support needs, and ensure Assent gets the best use from its enterprise agreements.

  • Oversee API configurations, customize settings, and ensure integrations align with Assent’s data governance and compliance requirements.

  • Optimize costs, manage vendor relations, and ensure alignment with Assent’s privacy and compliance standards.

  • Establish structured governance for AI tool use, ensuring ethical and compliant adoption.

  • Co-develop policies for responsible use of third-party AI models, covering data privacy, transparency, and limitations of off-the-shelf solutions.

  • Facilitate the monitoring of model performance, reliability, and usage metrics, implementing adjustments for improved outcomes.

  • Mitigate risks, maintain compliance, and ensure ongoing alignment with Assent’s governance standards.

  • Continuously evaluate and refine AI implementations, collecting user feedback and usage data to optimize and evolve tool configurations for ongoing alignment with business objectives.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure AI solutions are tailored to functional needs, delivering impactful, real-world results.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in technical roles with a demonstrated progression in responsibility and scope. At least 5 years of specialized experience in technology solution design, AI integration, or SaaS adoption, with a strong focus on implementing third-party AI tools to drive business outcomes and optimize solutions.

  • Proven enablement and optimization experience, skilled in empowering teams to adopt and integrate AI solutions effectively. Able to translate complex AI concepts into practical applications, driving skill development and enhancing impact through hands-on support.

  • Strong familiarity with generative AI capabilities, including experience in optimizing and configuring models like ChatGPT for targeted business use cases through customization techniques such as prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and contextual embedding.

  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into effective AI configurations and monitor AI model effectiveness against predefined metrics.

  • Proficiency in API integration, cloud-based AI solutions (e.g., OpenAI, Google AI, Azure Cognitive Services), and a solid understanding of AI-as-a-service platforms.

  • Strong background in managing vendor relationships, evaluating third-party AI models, and ensuring data governance and regulatory compliance.

  • Proven experience in creating documentation and training materials, with a focus on simplifying complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

    Job Description

    Focus on ensuring the success of our customers utilizing hyperscale cloud solutions, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud FCI & OTC. Responsibility for building strong relationships with our customers, driving adoption of cloud technologies, and maximizing the value they derive from their cloud investments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for our customers utilizing hyperscale cloud solutions, building and maintaining strong relationships at various levels within their organizations.

    Customer Adoption: Drive adoption of cloud technologies and services within our customer base, providing guidance, best practices, and resources to help them maximize the value of their cloud investments.

    Value Realization: Work closely with customers to understand their business objectives, challenges, and requirements, and identify opportunities to leverage cloud solutions to address their needs and drive business outcomes.

    Solution Enablement: Provide training, workshops, and educational resources to empower customers to effectively utilize hyperscale cloud platforms, services, and capabilities to meet their business goals.

    Technical Guidance: Collaborate with technical teams and solution architects to provide technical guidance, architecture reviews, and recommendations to customers, ensuring successful implementation and optimization of cloud solutions.

    Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to customer adoption, usage, and satisfaction with hyperscale cloud solutions, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous enhancement.

    Customer Advocacy: Serve as a strong advocate for our customers within hyperscale cloud providers, advocating for their needs, priorities, and interests, and driving resolution of issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner.

    Renewals and Expansion: Partner with sales teams to drive customer renewals and expansions, identifying opportunities for upselling additional services or expanding cloud usage to drive incremental revenue growth.

    Feedback and Insights: Gather customer feedback, insights, and requirements to inform product development, service enhancements, and go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.

     

    Solution Enablement: Provide internal & external training, workshops, and educational resources to empower internal & external customers to effectively utilize Google Solutions, services, and capabilities to meet their business goals.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in customer success management, account management, or consulting roles, preferably in the technology or cloud computing industry.
    • Strong understanding of hyperscale cloud platforms, services, and ecosystems, with direct experience working with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, FCI & OTC.
    • Proven track record of driving customer success and satisfaction through strategic relationship management, adoption enablement, and value realization.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of customer organizations.
    • Technical acumen with the ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts and solutions to non-technical audiences.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Experience in project management, change management, or service delivery is a plus.

    As a Senior AWS Solution Architect & Senior AWS Cloud Consultant you fulfill the following tasks:

    • You research and analyze available tools and frameworks and then implement those as cloud-native solutions for our customers
    • You assist the T-Systems Public Cloud Product Management Team to build and define solutions on top of AWS based on customer and market feedback
    • You support the customer engagement lifecycle from pre-sales to implementation and identify and support follow-up activities
    • You participate in or lead technical workshops as a cloud expert with partners and clients and implement Pilot and Proof of Concept projects
    • You advise clients on architecture methods, governance and the use of cloud-native best practices
    • You will run Well-Architected Reviews on customer workloads advising the customer on AWS best practices 
    • You will review existing customer environments, plan and implement migrations to AWS cloud by applying appropriate migration strategy (Relocate, Rehosting, Refactoring etc.) 
    • You develop automated cloud-native solutions following the IaC approach using appropriate AWS services, such as Lambda, Step Functions, Terraform, Cloudformation (including higher-level provision options like SAM or CDK)
    • You are responsible for expanding and improving the solution portfolio and you develop new features, templates and documentation 
    • You act as a coach and mentor for young and new team members
    • You take over technical sub-project management responsibility as a sparring partner between business and IT in interdisciplinary teams.
    • Independent steering of error analysis and problem-solutions together with the operation in the DevOps teams
    • You work in a highly dynamic, international environment with a highly motivated team

    Qualifications

    • Next to a degree in computer science or another technical discipline, you have at least 5 years of experience in two or more of the following areas: software development, automation and containers, design & implementation of distributed cloud applications, agile methodologies
    • You have 2+ years of working experience with a hyperscaler AWS cloud platform (nice to have Azure or GCP knowledge), for example Amazon EC2 compute, AWS Lambda, AWS EventBridge, AWS CloudWatch, Amazon RDS, Amazon ECS
    • Extensive experience in DevOps methodologies, Programming and Automation with Shell Scripting, Docker, Terraform, Ansible. Linux system Administration, Bash scripting.
    • You are experienced with complex, large scale environments and able to design a resilient, secured, and performant cloud infrastructure solution
    • Demonstrated experience developing an enterprise-scale distributed applications using modern software development practices and technologies is highly desired
    • You have already client-facing experiences
    • Strong communication skills in English, (German is nice to have)
    • Flexibility and readiness to travel occasionally are expected
