About the Job

Wayfair is seeking an experienced Print Production Contractor to join our team temporarily. The Manager of Print Production will contribute to all aspects of the end to end production process supporting our Wayfair Physical Retail Operations. This role includes many of the traditional aspects of experiential and print production, including interacting with  a stable of external manufactures, juggling tight timelines, balancing budgets, and coordinating with field employees on delivery and installation. The Manager of Print Production must collaborate and partner closely with our creative, marketing and Physical Retail teams.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in retail print production or similar production, project management or production operations, and will demonstrate an ability to confidently manage a process and influence diverse teams to meet deadlines and collaborate toward a common goal. A strong operational orientation is key to success in this role, as is a keen eye for efficiency and a passion for process improvement. 

Physical Retail is a new and growing team at Wayfair, so the Print Production Contractor will need to collaborate with all partner teams, championing the process up front, rolling it out across the teams, and continuing to optimize and pivot as we grow and scale. It will require flexibility and a scrappy, roll up the sleeves mentality to build out this new capability from the ground up. You’ll coordinate and deliver projects that support our existing stores’ seasonal floor sets in addition to projects that support Wayfair’s scaling expansion in Physical Retail. This role will focus on Wayfair and their Standalone Brands (SAB): AllModern, Birch Lane, Joss & Main and Perigold.

What You’ll Do

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • This role is focused on ensuring smoother, streamlined operations over the next 6+ months.
  • Assist with organizing and refining our existing SOPs on signage graphics and speciality print projects 
  • Leading the signage package for the Perigold New Store Opening 
  • Supporting the vendor RFP process to identify new competitive production vendors
  • Enhancing operational tools for improved efficiency

Who are we looking for

We are looking for individuals who have a proven track record in owning and driving major businesses/initiatives, managing teams and developing functions in environments such as:

  • Print and Signage production - including paper, cardstock, vinyl and dye sub
  • Project Management 
  • Retail - Big Box / Specialty
  • Duration - Six months, with possibility of extension

Who We Are:

As an Interior Design Co-op, you will be immersed in all aspects of the design process and gain hands-on experience working with real clients across brands & geographies. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Utilize AutoCAD or Revit to generate floor plans, furniture layouts and install plans
  • Prepare client-facing presentations including Product Catalogs, Design Proposals and Standard Packages using Adobe Creative software
  • Provide design support and creative assistance for client projects (site analysis, floor plans, CAD renderings, color palettes, design plans, mood-boards)
  • Create trend reports to present and share findings with the Business Design Team
  • Collaborate with other sales and service teams and Business Account Managers on large projects
  • Partner with the Design Leadership team as the owner of cadenced customer outreach, customer funnel management, and lead assignment
  • Work directly with Design clients in need of samples and custom orders; communicate with suppliers and manufacturers on sample requests, custom orders, product lead times, and pricing

What You’ll Need:

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Current Sophomore or Junior student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Interior Design or a relevant discipline with a 3.0 GPA minimum
  • Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the Co-op
  • Ability to commit to working 40 hours/week (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday) from January 6 to June 20, 2025
  • You must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency in Google suite, Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, MyDoma, Spoak or comparable design software

Our team of interior designers creates beautiful spaces for clients of every scope and budget. We help a variety of clients from all walks of life including B2B clients working on their personal residences. Our designers work with clients from initial intake form through to purchase, managing each phase of the project. As an Interior Design Co-op on the Virtual Design Services team you will learn from a team of experts how to assess client needs, source materials, build renderings, and close deals. You will also get to peak behind the curtain to see how team management decisions are made and how to run a design business.

Wayfair Co-op Program Overview:

Our co-op program is a six-month, full-time, paid program that runs twice annually in January to June and July to December. Through the co-op program, students have the opportunity to gain impactful professional experience in their major or career field of interest by fully integrating with Wayfair business units. Wayfair’s Physical Retail team is seeking a Senior Manager of Fixture Design and Production  to direct a store design function that will enable the organization’s physical retail agenda. This role will be an integral part of the Visual Merchandising Team that will help develop and implement the playbook to stand up and scale stores in North America for all 5 Wayfair brands. 

The Senior Manager of Fixture Design and Procurement will work with cross-functional partners (e.g., Merchandising, Creative, Customer Experience, Store Operations) to build and execute a strategy that supports Wayfair’s expansion of physical retail - translating brand, product, and visual strategies into a cohesive, compelling, and cost effective fixture packages that support the in-store assortment. We are seeking a motivated leader who can develop our fixture program strategy for the visual merchandising department and provide thought leadership to ensure that our stores are a major contributor to the financial success of our Wayfair physical retail platform.

This role is remote with heavy travel to Boston and future store sites. reports to the Director of Visual Merchandising, Physical Retail. The Senior Manager of Fixture Design and Production has significant cross-functional responsibility and opportunity for exposure to the Physical Retail Leadership team. As the retail portfolio grows, this role will work to build out a team to manage an increasing number of assets and transactions for the Wayfair portfolio of stores.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and drive the fixture program for the physical retail platform across all 5 store formats for Wayfair’s brands: Wayfair, AllModern, Joss & Main, Birch Lane and Perigold.
  • Partner with Design/Build to ensure space planning requirements are met & revisions are reflected in architectural workstreams. 
  • Design and evolve fixtures for current and future formats aligning with business needs and product category performance.
  • Develop and maintain internal fixture block library and coding 
  • Create a program of fixture accessories to complement the package and ensure all product categories are housed and highlighted appropriately.
  • Design and evolve the sign holder and wayfinding package for current and future formats aligning with in-store marketing strategy and amplifying the product and presentation strategies.
  • Work with manufacturers to produce fixture programs on schedule and within budget
  • On-going assessment of vendor performance to ensure high level of service and product.
  • Drive cost efficiencies across the program and store formats, and assist in owning the budget and purchase of the fixtures
  • Source and onboard new vendors as needed
  • Longer term - assist Procurement in bulk buy planning strategy

What You’ll Need:

  • Physical retail experience required, with preferred experience in standing up a retail store program
  • 7+ years of Fixture Design and Production experience
  • Demonstrable history delivering millwork, metals, etc.
  • Experience managing overseas factories is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Software, G Suite, CAD, Revvit, Sketch-up, Rhino
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks is a plus

Overview:

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for owning, managing and growing a book of business.  Your book will consist of business customers in varying industries including but not limited to: Office, Property Management, Contractor, Interior Design, and Accomodations.  In this role you will be responsible for establishing new relationships, prospecting new business, and growing existing accounts through proactive sales outreach. You are expected to leverage sales and service partners to support the customer journey and their relationship with Wayfair Professional.

What Does A Business Account Manager (BAM) Do?  

  • Manage Sales Portfolio: You are responsible for effectively maintaining and growing your book of business quarter over quarter by applying the Wayfair sales process and managing a pipeline of opportunities. 
  • Build Rapport and Influence Sales: Conduct engaging conversations through phone and email outreach with the objective of growing customer relationships through repeat sales and a continuous pipeline of opportunity.
  • Meet a High Performance Bar:You will meet or exceed all sales metrics, not limited to but including, revenue and productivity goals.
  • Provide a Top Tier Customer Experience: You’ll support customer experience from enrollment through mature customer relationships as they expand their business with Wayfair Professional
  • Effectively Time Manage: Schedule appointments and assist customers with purchasing from the Wayfair Professional site leveraging strong product knowledge, sourcing and industry expertise.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert on Wayfair Professional’s comprehensive value, product and service capabilities.
  • Collaborate: Effectively work alongside peers, partners, and suppliers to provide an exceptional customer experience.

What are the Requirements?

  • Pay:This position has a performance-based compensation structure that includes a base salary range estimate of $32,000 - $38,000 per year with specifics determined by geography and cost of living considerations. You are also eligible to earn uncapped quarterly bonus based on your performance, range of earnings to be discussed during the interview. 
  • Location:This is a work from home position where you will be working virtually.
  • Sales Experience:1 - 3 years of previous outbound sales experience with previously demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPI’s or performance metrics
  • Book Management:1+ year of book management experience (B2B sales preferred)
  • B2B Knowledge: B2B sales knowledge, strong business acumen, and ability to execute project needs analysis
  • Adaptability: You must have a willingness to adapt and grow in a fast paced, high growth industry 
  • Ownership: Taking ownership for driving your professional and sales development plans to remain aligned with the business expectations.
  • Effective Communications: Strong command of written and verbal communications to drive your performance.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with email, video conferencing, CRM, and spreadsheets (Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Google Suite, Zoom/Google Meet, and previous experience working remotely are all preferred qualifications)
  • Schedule Adherence:If not located in Eastern Time Zone (ET), you must be able to commit to logging  on at your time zone equivalent of 8AM ET

Wayfair Professional is seeking an experienced Account Executive to own, nurture and grow an Enterprise book of business that is centered around MultiFamily Property Management accounts. Experience should include; designing and executing outbound book management strategies, a track record of achieving and exceeding key performance metrics, developing feedback loops to track KPIs, experience executing project plans with multiple stakeholders involved, strategy development and execution. What You’ll Do:

In this role, you will directly manage 1 Enterprise Development Manager (EDM) and be responsible for the continued growth of an Enterprise level book of business 

  • Nurture and develop enterprise level accounts, growing book of business to 10+ $1M accounts
  • Manage existing accounts, developing and executing account strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction by performing a top-down sales approach
  • Lead the sales process through opportunity pipeline management, create tailored proposals to address client needs, establish contract and rebate programs to lock in programmatic sales
  • Leverage data to drive strategic sales decisions (proactive outreach, profitability, wallet penetration) 
  • Establish strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction by prospecting, networking (including attending trade shows, customer visits, etc.) and maintain communication at the executive level
  • Collaborate and coach EDM for upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Partner with cross functional teams like Design, Large Projects/Project Management, Marketing, Sales Tech, and Category  by providing feedback to deliver the right value to our customers
  • Make sure their pod is up to date on industry trends, product knowledge and enhancing their sales processes for greater efficiency

What You'll Need:

  • 6-10+ years experience in Sales / Category Management / Sales Leadership, or Business Development - B2B preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering against aggressive goals in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to travel up to 10-12 times per year to attend industry specific events and/or in person client meetings
  • Clear and structured communication (verbal and written)
  • Ability to hit the ground running, self-starter
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives, and to delegate tasks appropriately
  • Innovative problem-solving skills – dissect and determine root causes of problems, and implement solution
  • Experience with Client Relationship Management Systems (Salesforce a plus) 

The base pay for this position is $65,250-76,500*** however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Commission and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
