The Senior Project Manager performs the lead role in managing the implementation of Unit4 software solutions into customer environments orchestrating the successful delivery of project engagements. Expected to lead and drive projects to successful completion, achieving agreed delivery dates within budget, meeting customer requirements and exceeding expectations. The successful candidate will preferably be based remotely in Germany or Austria with regular travel required to our client's sites mainly DACH region.

  • Ensures project plan and deliverables match with the scope as outlined in the Scope of Work (SOWs);
  • Collaborates closely with assigned project team members including architect, consultant and global teams to create a project plan and a work breakdown structure (WBS) consistent with Unit4's preferred best practices;
  • Leads and manage project team members applying Unit4 and professional best practices;
  • Responsible for maintaining out-of-scope requests and working with the customer and Unit4 account team to scope and cost additional Unit4 opportunities;
  • Ensures that work is not performed outside of contracted scope without appropriate change order documentation accepted by the client;
  • Maintains a weekly project plan which identifies and updates all project risks, issues, tasks and dependencies. Tracks progress against project initiation document and SOW baseline;
  • Collaborates with Unit4 resource management team to appropriately staff each project;
  • Maintains accurate weekly revenue and cost forecast for each project;
  • Interacts with project staff, customers and other Unit4 teams as necessary to communicate project status and to escalate risks and issues on timely basis;
  • Ensures accurate and timely communication of project status to relevant stakeholders including Unit4 PMO and customer account teams;
  • Ensures that all Gateways of the applied Unit4 Delivery Methodology are signed-off by the customer
  • Is able to communicate efficient to C-Level Stakeholders and Sponsors.
  • Maintains and archives all key project documents into appropriate systems;
  • Actively keeps abreast of latest trends and best practices in IT Project Management;
  • Builds and shares experience-based knowledge and resources directly with peers and across Unit4;
  • Adheres to all company policies, including but not limited to time and expenses, code of conduct, ethics, security and any required training available;
  • Continually identifies customer knowledge gaps and opportunities for Unit4 product or service expansion and enhancement.

Qualifikationen

A senior professional accountable for successful delivery of Unit4 strategic customer engagements. Able to multi-task, managing cross functional teams to deliver scoped outcomes across multiple projects. Manages relationships with internal Unit4 and customer stakeholders at all levels using advanced and timely communication skills. Known as advanced level practitioner with track record of successful delivery across multiple engagements. Coaches and mentors junior PM staff. Able to lead and demonstrate project management best practices.

  • You have a Bachelor degree, or equivalent, in a relevant field;
  • Typically, 6 or more years of related professional project management experience; ideally in delivering ERP-projects in the supplier role.
  • Evidence of proven team leadership over large scale technical engagements (6+ team members, over 500 K€, over 9 months duration, multiple product suites);
  • International experience preferred;
  • Highly driven with excellent communications skills both oral and written, able to influence at senior level within Unit4 and with customers at senior level, listens and communicates effectively;
  • Demonstrates the ability to apply sound judgment to any situation and achieve desired outcomes;

As Lead Privacy Counsel you will oversee Unit4’s approach to data protection matters under GDPR and in other jurisdictions. As part of the global legal team, you will enhance legal awareness in the business, by providing training and advising management on relevant legal development that could affect our business. You will be involved in strategic projects critical to the business and engage directly with senior executives (including with respect to AI as mentioned above). 

You will be part of a global legal team of around 12 people. Unit4 is growing fast and advancing its technology into many new areas which provides for a great number of exciting projects where legal is leading the business in best practice and compliant ways of transacting business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Contracts:
    • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including SaaS (sales) agreements, service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and joint venture agreements.
    • Provide legal advice on contract interpretation and dispute resolution.
  • French Commercial Law:
    • Advise on French commercial law matters, including corporate governance, competition law, and consumer protection.
    • Stay up-to-date on French legal developments and provide training to internal stakeholders.
  • Privacy, Data Protection and AI:
    • Advise on all aspects of data privacy and protection compliance, including GDPR, e-Privacy Directive, and local data protection laws.
    • Conduct data privacy impact assessments (DPIAs) and provide guidance on data minimization and retention policies.
    • Manage data breach response processes (working closely with the CISO) and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
    • Represent the company in data protection audits and investigations.
    • Involvement in company’s AI committee and all related projects.

Qualifications

Education

  • Collaborate with web development and content teams to improve internal linking, site architecture, and SEO best practices.
  • Monitor and report on SEO performance metrics, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates.
  • Develop a comprehensive link-building strategy to increase domain authority and improve organic search visibility.

      • Financial analysis:Conduct thorough financial analysis, including valuation modelling and due diligence, to evaluate potential acquisitions and assess their impact on Unit4’s financial and operational performance.
      • Stakeholder management:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between acquisition strategies and business objectives
      • Communication and reporting:Support in the preparation of detailed due diligence reports and investment cases to our senior executives and Board of Directors
      • Business development:Build and grow relationships with bankers and other external parties to support business development efforts.
      • M&A strategy development:Support the formulation and execution of Unit4’s M&A strategy, enhancing our ability to identify opportunities that align with our long-term objectives, by working with our Product, CS, GTM, and Delivery teams to understand their roadmaps and needs to help inform deal sourcing and priorities.
      • Market research:Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities to inform decision-making and identify potential acquisition targets.

      Qualifications

      • Experience:3-6 years of corporate development, investment banking, private equity, and/or management consulting experience, with a preference for candidates with technology/software experience.
      • Advanced financial analysis:A strong command of valuation methodologies, accounting principles, and Excel modelling, with ability to define and execute key analyses with minimal supervision.
      • Analytical skills:Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, with a proven ability to conduct complex financial analysis and distil findings into actionable insights.
      • Communication skills:Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to senior executives and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
      • Project management:Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
      • Teamwork:Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
      • Results orientation:Results-driven and detail-oriented, with a track record of delivering high-quality work products on time.
