ScienceLogic is hiring a Remote Senior Product Manager - Network Automation and Compliance

*This position can be remote* (Eastern or Central Time Zone required)

Who we are...

In a world of constant change, we're leading the charge towards truly autonomous enterprises. Our cutting-edge platform harnesses the power of automation and generative AI to revolutionize how businesses manage and optimize their IT operations.

We're not just adapting to digital transformation—we're accelerating it. Our solutions bring business and operations leaders together, unlocking new levels of innovation, efficiency, and scalability. We empower organizations to deliver superior customer experiences and drive revenue growth in an always-on, always-mobile world.

At ScienceLogic, we're building the foundation for Autonomic IT—a future where IT operations are self-healing, self-optimizing, and aligned perfectly with business objectives. Our team of visionaries is reshaping the $18+ billion IT operations market, creating cost-optimized, efficient, and next-level capabilities for enterprises worldwide.

What you'll be doing …

We empower our product teams to solve hard problems – customer problems and business problems – in ways that our customers love, yet work for our business. Our product teams are cross-functional and durable. We staff our product teams with the skills and team members necessary to come up with effective solutions that are valuable, viable, usable and feasible. While the engineers are accountable for ensuring the solution is feasible, the product manager is accountable for ensuring the solution is both valuable and viable.

This means that the product manager must contribute to their product team a solid knowledge of the various constraints of the business – constraints from marketing, sales, service, finance, legal, and privacy are typical examples. The product manager must also contribute to the product team a deep knowledge of our customers and data-driven insights about how our customers engage with our products.

While each team member may be accountable for a specific risk, we look for product managers to understand that consistent innovation is the result of each member of the product team contributing their passion and their ideas. The product manager must use data, logic, and collaboration with their team, stakeholders, and customers to discover effective solutions, and then work together to deliver those solutions to market.

While we empower our product teams to figure out the best solutions to the problems that need to be solved, we also hold those teams accountable to the results. Shipping is necessary, but not sufficient. We look for product managers who are not afraid of signing up for results, even when this means they have to work through others to achieve the necessary results.

This job, as with the other roles on the product team, is an individual contributor role.

What qualities you possess …

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years working as a product manager or product designer.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.
  • Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.

Benefits & Perks

  • A remote-first culture - work from home or come into the office, it's totally up to you.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental and vision plans.
  • 401(k) plan with employer match.
  • Flexible Paid Time Off (FTO) so that you can take the time that you need to re-energise.
  • Volunteer Time Off (VTO) - take two days off per calendar year to volunteer with your preferred charitable organization.
  • 5-year Service Milestone Sabbatical.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Generous employee referral bonus program.
  • Pet insurance.
  • HQ Office centrally located in Reston Town Center featuring a well-stocked kitchen with rotating snacks and beverages, and catered lunch on Thursdays.
  • Regular virtual company-wide events, including cooking classes, yoga, meditation and more.
