The Flow Builder team is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting Postscript’s message orchestration platform. We are constantly improving on the current platform and adding new features that empower merchants to run their entire SMS business through Postscript. The Flow Builder product is experiencing fast growth and adoption leading to a number of new and exciting challenges to solve. We are looking for a motivated software engineer with an interest in building scalable and extensible products to join our growing team.  

As a Senior Backend Engineer on the Flow Builder team you will use your expertise and passion for building scalable and extensible distributed systems to help enhance our message orchestration platform, enabling our customers to engage their subscribers through conversational messaging. As a technical leader you will set the bar for the maintainability and performance of our systems. You will be given the autonomy to grow to your full potential and your work will directly impact our customers and Postscript’s bottom line.

Senior Backend Engineers at Postscript have a high impact on their team and on the wider engineering org through project leadership, technical expertise, and decision-making. As a Senior engineer you will guide your team in weighing technical constraints and business priorities to make the necessary trade-offs to deliver customer value. Our stack is currently React, Go, Python (Flask), within a mostly monolithic, AWS-managed architecture.

Your passion for building great products, especially in early-stage companies, will lead you to have a  significant impact on both our customers and business. In addition, you will have the opportunity to solve challenging problems and build out architecture and processes as we scale. 

This position is fully remote.

Primary duties

  • Architect and build highly available, extensible, and scalable platform primitives and REST APIs for external and internal customers
  • Take ownership and be creative with your solutions as you help deliver excellent products to our customers
  • Contribute to the health of the team through honest and direct feedback as we iterate and improve on our processes
  • Guide your team to make optimal technical and product design decisions
  • Identify and execute on points of scale in order to maximize throughput and efficiency
  • Mentor other engineers on best practices and growth opportunities
  • Be accountable for communicating transparently and proactively, defining scope, breaking down and estimating tasks, risk and change management

Requirements

  • A proven career as a software engineer developing backend applications and APIs, hands-on experience using Golang and Python. SaaS experience preferred
  • Experience with or exposure to migration off a monolithic architecture a plus
  • Familiarity with building, deploying, and maintaining applications on AWS services using Terraform
  • Expertise in NoSQL and SQL, and experience with database modeling (Postgres)
  • Experience building modular, flexible architectures (maximizing readability and extensibility)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience building great products (high growth, early stage tech preferred)
  • Experience coaching and mentoring engineers

Job Description

As aSenior Technical Recruiter, you will ensure that Postscript continually sources, attracts and recruits the most qualified candidates for a wide-range of technical roles. Primary duties

In addition, you will have the opportunity to help expand the engineering team and build out architecture and processes as we scale

This is a fully remote position.

Primary duties

  • Architect, build, and maintain the core infrastructure across the platforms – messaging, data, and workflow
  • Maintain and create REST and gRPC APIS for external and internal customers
  • Define contracts between the platforms and enforce consistency in coding and data
  • Identify bottlenecks and points of scale and make recommendations on how to maximize throughput and efficiency, then lead the team to implement

As a Senior Customer Success Manager you will work with our largest, high growth customers to ensure they are successful and gain maximum value out of Postscript’s product offering. You will do this by immersing yourself in the customers’ business, deeply understanding their goals, and ultimately building strong customer relationships. You’ll develop creative marketing strategies and share valued best practices. Further, you will work closely with the Customer Success management team to share customer insights and ensure that Postscript continually improves in order to best serve your customer base.

Overview

As an Enterprise Account Executive,you will be directly responsible for driving net new business with our top accounts. You will manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact through successful close and will be equipped with two BDR’s to work with. Primary Duties

  • Own the entire sales process, initial contact, opportunity management, negotiation, and closing. Consistently meet and exceed your business targets.
  • Adeptly handle multiple complex deals simultaneously. Use a solution-based selling approach that is inclusive of all stakeholders.
  • Advise prospects and customers on how SMS can enhance their marketing approach. Understand a wide variety of ecommerce marketing technologies and how Postscript fits into each customer’s technology stack.
  • Build strong relationships with prospects and customers to ensure success.

Overview

Postscript is hiring a Sr. Product Designer with past experience in an early-stage, metric-driven environment to join our Design team. Product Designers at Postscript are equal members of the Product-Design-Engineering (PDE) triad, and are responsible for helping their team ship delightful experiences to customers. You will be deeply integrated on a PDE team and collaborate very closely with fellow engineers and product managers. As a Customer Experience Advocate (CXA), you will be the first line of communication for our customers. As a Program Manager, Digital CS you will play a critical role in ensuring our SMB customers receive industry-leading strategic support through predominantly digital and automated motions. You will optimize and expand a Digital CS program that helps customers leverage best practices to achieve their marketing and revenue goals. This individual will be highly autonomous and have strong communication skills, working cross-functionally to support the entire Digital CS book of business and program. Primary duties

  • Autonomously manage our Digital CS program. Deliver industry-leading customer support while driving strong business outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective, repeatable playbooks to drive product adoption and reduce churn through digital interactions.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions to improve customer outcomes.
  • Own escalated customer issues. Problem solve and resolve difficult issues in a way that strongly exhibits our core values and customer philosophy. 
  • Work closely with the Postscript support team to triage technical questions, adding to our library of self-service resources as needed.
  • Serve as a liaison between Customer Success and Marketing by sharing content in an impactful way to improve customer experience and results.

  • 4+ years of customer management experience, in SaaS marketing or ecommerce technology
  • Experience managing customers at scale (300+ logos)
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer lifecycle marketing role, preferred

As a Senior Backend Engineer for the Acquisition and App ExperienceTeam at Postscript, you will use your passion and expertise for software engineering to create powerful, differentiated acquisition tools that enable brands to grow their subscriber list on and off-site. Senior Backend Engineers at Postscript have a high impact on their team and on the wider engineering org through project leadership, technical expertise, and decision-making. Our stack is currently React, Python (Flask), within a mostly monolithic, AWS-managed architecture.

On the Acquisition and App Experience team our SDK additionally leverages Lit Web Components and TypeScript, a mix of Cloudflare and AWS-managed architecture, and Shopify App Extensions. Our SDK sees several billion requests a month to over 150 million unique users, and our API handles millions of requests daily.

Your passion for building great products, especially in early-stage companies, will lead you to have a meaningful and positive impact on both the product and the company. In addition, you will have the opportunity to help expand the engineering team and build out architecture and processes as we scale.. This position is fully remote.
