About the Role

Out There Media is looking for an organized and proactive Executive & Personal Assistant who can seamlessly support our leadership team while also managing daily office operations. This position offers the opportunity to be a key player in our fast-paced, global mobile advertising company, ensuring that our executives, our global team and our office environment run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executive Support: Provide comprehensive support to executives, managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling communications.
  • Travel Management: Organize travel, accommodations, and itineraries for seamless experiences.
  • Project Coordination: Assist with organizing and tracking projects, ensuring timelines are met on key initiatives.
  • Meeting Preparation: Prepare documents, presentations, and reports for meetings, capturing essential insights and action items.
  • Personal Assistance: Occasionally handle personal tasks to support executives' work-life balance.
  • Office Operations: Oversee day-to-day office needs, such as supplies, equipment, and general maintenance.
  • Vendor Relations: Coordinate with external vendors and service providers, ensuring all contracts and agreements meet company standards.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and execute internal meetings and events, both virtual and in-person, for team-building and company culture initiatives.
  • Experience: 3+ years in an Executive or Personal Assistant role, ideally supporting senior executives in a fast-paced or tech environment.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (incl. PowerPoint), and excellent written and verbal communication in English. Proficiency in German is advantageous.
  • Attitude: Positive, able to adapt to changing priotities, and trustworthy, with a commitment to confidentiality and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

What’s In for You

As a Data Engineer at Out There Media, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers our technology platform Mobucks™. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying data pipelines that ingest, transform, and store massive datasets from various sources. Your work will directly impact the success of our advertising campaigns and the overall growth of the company.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Analyze and organize raw data
  • Developing and maintaining datasets and evaluate datasets for accuracy and quality in order to improving data quality and efficiency
  • Build data systems and pipelines
  • Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling
  • Build up processes for data mining, data modeling, data streaming and create efficient ML models for interpret trends and patterns
  • Develop analytical tools and programs
  • Ensure that all data systems meet the high transactional requirements as well as industry best practices
  • Integrate up-and-coming data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures
  • Create custom software components and analytics applications
  • Research new uses for existing data
  • Employ an array of technological languages and tools to connect systems together
  • Define data retention policies and Install/update disaster recovery procedures
  • Always be on the edge of technology and continuously monitor and test the system to ensure optimized performance.
  • Work with internal teams in understanding the business requirements and implementing solutions to achieve business goals

  • Degree in a related field such as software / computer engineering, applied mathematics, physics statistics or business informatics
  • 5+ years of working experience acquired by working in companies dealing heavily with big data (e.g. research companies)
  • Proficient use of SQL Language
  • Excellent use of Google BigQuery and Google Datastudio and Dataflow
  • Experienced with technologies / tools such as Spark, SparkSql, Flink, GeoSpark
  • Experienced with Hadoop, and MapReduce processes
  • Good knowledge of Big Data querying tools, such as Hive and others
  • Experience building and using clustering and classification algorithms and methods
  • Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources
  • Excellent English skills, written and oral.
  • Intellectual curiosity to find new and unusual ways of how to solve data management issues.
  • Ability to approach data organization challenges while keeping an eye on what’s important.

As a Product Manager, you will work with your key stakeholders and partners to build the right product modules and features that deliver value both to our customers and to our business. You will have the most direct influence on our product’s success by articulating what success looks like, defining and safeguarding its roadmap and its long-term strategy, and rallying the different teams (designers, developers, etc.) to turn this strategy into a reality.

  • Write themes, Epics, user stories, user acceptance criteria and guide the development team to implementation by managing and prioritizing the backlog of features and requests.
  • Write use cases, create wireframes and work closely with the UI/UX team
  • Participate in sprint planning and review to track progress.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the competition, identify and fill product gaps, generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.

  • 5+ years of experience in product management
  • Exceptional customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly products and customer-facing features
  • Experience managing business priorities against design/user needs while delivering against product roadmaps
  • Tech-savvy and ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Experience in working with UI/UX teams as well as writing use cases and creating wireframes
  • Experience managing end-to-end software product development and releases with a cross-functional software development team in an agile environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline
  • Knowledge of analyzing and interpreting raw and processed data
  • Knowledge of effectively running and interpreting results of experiments. Familiarity with different testing techniques and experience with A/B testing is strongly valued

What’s In for You

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be the single point of contact between Out There Media and our most important telco and other technical clients and partners in countries of Sub-Saharan Africa, such as South Africa, Rwanda, Uganda, Eswatini, Zambia and more. You will be responsible for leading technical integrations, understanding KPIs of Telco’s ad monetization, identifying their needs and requirements, and promoting Out There Media’s digital and mobile advertising technology solutions and services to achieve mutual satisfaction by obtaining and maintaining strong relationships with long term key customers and partners. You will manage and grow existing key customer accounts while actively looking to grow our portfolio.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Telco clients and Out There Media’s internal teams to plan, execute, and successfully integrate technically with our key customers while ensuring all elements of the project plan are delivered on time and within budget
  • Actively seek to unlock new inventories with our key customers and partners
  • Source and identify local partners, agents, or products or resources to proactively address the customers’ needs
  • Own, build and foster relationships with customers’ senior stakeholders being their main single point of contact at Out There Media. Attend structured regular face to face meetings with key customers
  • Gain insights into the customers’ most urgent business problems, resolve any issues or problems faced by them, effectively deal with complaints to maintain trust and actively provide them with solutions
  • Grow these relationships by continuously proposing and delivering innovative solution add-ons through Out There Media’s technology and services that anticipate the customers’ needs and ensure they do not turn to competition (new services, new products, new inventories, etc.)
  • Commercially own key customer accounts by putting in place and implementing an account plan, with clear account targets. Manage contract renewals, drive negotiations, monitor account performance, oversee invoicing, payments and reconciliations
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics

These are the traits and skills we seek:

  • 7+ years working experience in managing technical integrations and growing key accounts in the field of telecoms or information technology on a SaaS model
  • Experience with telcos will be considered a plus (structuring, selling, integrating and managing complex enterprise solutions to telco clients)
  • Strong understanding of mobile and digital advertising industry is a must
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable in a field that combines elements of multiple disciplines (technology, marketing, mass psychology)
  • University Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Project Management, Information Technology)
  • Good knowledge of tools such as Jira and some experience with scrum management
  • Experience serving as the conduit between the clients and the internal teams and translating client business needs to operational requirements
