We are looking for a Bookkeeper to join our fast-growing finance team. Reporting to our Financial Reporting Director, based in Cyprus, you will be supporting the team on the monthly reporting and assisting in the quarterly and annual auditing requirements.  

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Multi-currency accounting entries and adjustments 
  • Support monthly processes 
  • Month-end closing procedures 
  • Income and expenditure reconciliations 
  • Balance sheet accounts reconciliations 
  • Accounts payable, management of supplier accounts and invoice queries 
  • Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns 
  • Respond to requests for information from various stakeholders including auditors, tax consultants and other internal managers. Ensure that this is provided in a timely manner 

 

Qualifications include, but are not limited to: 

  • B.A in Accounting and Finance or similar 
  • At least 3 years of bookkeeping and VAT experience - a must 
  • Professional Qualification (ACCA Student/Trainee, CAT, AAT Holder or LCCI) - an advantage 
  • Familiarity with SAP Business - an advantage 
  • Excellent use of Ms Office (Excel) – a must 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented and complex organization

Nuvei’s Solution team includes Solution Architect who act as a technical and payment product consultant to potential client and partner demands. A solution architect will architect client or a partner platform with Nuvei payment services to apply both client business demands and Nuvei best practices. Job Requirements:

  • +4 years of experience within the payment’s industry.
  • B.S. in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or related field an advantage.
  • Proven ability to read, debug, and understand web applications (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).

Your Mission 

As Account Manager (Small and Medium business) you will be responsible for creating long-term relationships with Nuvei’s B2B customers (merchants). You will be managing a portfolio of assigned customer accounts and will be responsible for optimizing their revenue and uncovering new growth opportunities. You will be accountable for the operational related aspects of your portfolio of large and medium size merchants. Responsibilities

  • Serves as the main point of contact for a portfolio of large and medium size merchants.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationship with customers within portfolio, with the aim of optimizing and increasing their revenue through various growth activities.
  • Ensures all customers’ operational queries are responded to in a timely manner through liaising with different internal stake holders at Nuvei.

As an Underwriting analyst, you will review and analyze merchant applications to qualify their credit worthiness. You will follow all Nuvei appropriate credit policies and ensure compliance with boarding guidelines to mitigate overall financial and reputational risk exposures. You will be actively engaged with the Loss Prevention and Sales teams to identify risk and market trends. The successful candidate will have credit/underwriting experience and knowledge, preferably within a payment processing environment.

  • Verifies merchant application information, coordinating the collection of missing data and documentation. Analyzes and underwrites new merchant applications using different Underwriting tools Re-evaluate existing merchant accounts as requested by the other internal departments

  • Answer internal and external inquiries with regard to Underwriting issues
  • Contributes to regular staff meetings to discuss merchant accounts, trends, losses, etc. Present ideas to management for continuous improvement of procedures and efficiencies
  • Perform other tasks/duties as assigned
  • Associate degree required. Bachelor’ degree preferred.
  • 2 years’ experience in Underwriting preferred.
  • Experience in bank or bankcard industry an asset.

We are looking a Senior Tax Analyst for Brazil to join our team at Nuvei, a global leader in financial technology ("FinTech"). This position will be responsible for handling all tax-related matters in Brazil, including the calculation of direct and indirect taxes, tax withholdings, and reviewing tax returns prepared by outsourced providers. The ideal candidate will also provide tax support to the business, answering inquiries and offering guidance on tax matters.   

The Senior Tax Analyst will report to the LATAM Senior Tax Manager and work closely with external partners, such as outsourcing companies, and internal teams, including Finance and Legal. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is hands-on and eager to play a key role in our growing tax function in Brazil. 

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for this role are grouped into the following workstreams: 

Tax Calculations: 

  • Calculate and ensure compliance with all direct taxes (IRPJ and CSLL) and indirect taxes (PIS, COFINS, ISS). 
  • Handle withholding tax calculations for payments subject to tax withholdings (IRRF, CSRF, INSS, ISS). 

Accounting and Reconciliation: 

  • Ensure proper accounting of the taxes in the financial statements, working closely with the Accounting team. 
  • Reconcile tax accounts (e.g., PIS/COFINS, IRPJ/CSLL) on a monthly/quarterly basis to ensure accurate tax records. 
  • Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and deferred tax calculations. 

Tax Filings: 

  • Review tax returns and filings (both direct and indirect taxes) prepared by outsourcing companies to ensure accuracy and compliance with Brazilian regulations (eg: DCTF, EFD Contribuições, ECF, PERDCOMPs, DES-IF, DIMP, among others). 
  • Ensure all statutory and tax reporting deadlines are met. 

Support and Advisory: 

  • Provide tax support to internal teams, answering tax-related questions and offering guidance on compliance and best practices. 
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and communicate potential impacts to the business. 

Tax Audits: 

  • Assist in managing tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities, ensuring proper documentation and responses are provided. 

 

  • A minimum of 5 years working in the Tax Service Line of a Big 4 accounting firm, global law firm and/or Tax Department of a multinational corporation. 
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax laws and regulations, including direct and indirect taxes, as well as tax withholding requirements. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
  • Excellent communication skills to provide clear, concise, and actionable advice on tax matters.

Your Mission 

We are looking for a Product Commercialization Executive to join our fast-growing Product Commercializationteam. Reporting to our VP Product Commercialization, you will be supporting the team on launching new or existing Product or Service and making it fully commercially available.This is supported with relevant training to the Global Commercial team, allowing them to successfully engage customers grow revenue.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Engaging Product SME on assigned products or services to be launched
  • Working with product readiness, product and project teams to ensure technically and operationally readiness
  • Creating internal collateral to support the launch and educate the Commercial teams
  • Liaise with several business units across Nuvei for global roll out – i.e. pricing, onboarding, UW, Sales Ops, Implementation, Legal etc

  • Support Product training to niche groups.

  • To support seismic roll out global expansion plan for becoming the single source of truth Nuvei products and services.

Your Mission:

System Analyst at Nuvei has a leading role in the R&D department. Key responsibilities include understanding the business requirements and designing the systems that implement these requirements. Your Mission

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our fast-growing Commercial team. Reporting to our SVP Commercial Middle East & Africa, you will be supporting the team on accelerate the distribution of Nuvei’s products with a key focus on the fintech industry.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Security Engineer to join our dynamic Technical Security Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security systems across a variety of platforms, protecting the company’s digital assets, and continuously evolving our security posture. Your Mission
We are looking for a Platforms and Partners manager to join our fast-growing Platforms and Partners team. Reporting to our VP Platforms and Partners, you will be supporting the team on Platforms and Partners business development and maintain existing relations. 

Responsibilities

  • Business development of online gaming platforms and partners, be responsible for increasing revenue of existing and recruit new online gaming platform\partners with a focus on online payments. 
  • Identify potential partnership deals and opportunities. 
  • Understand Partners’ business: how they monetize their growth strategy, their technical challenges and pain points, and strategic initiatives and optimally position Nuvei as the partner of choice that can support their business objectives. 
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally across the organization to help shape Nuvei’s products, solutions and processes to meet Platforms and Partners needs. 

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of direct experience in business development in online global payments industry with proven track record of overachieving KPI and goals. 
  • Expert in online payments with direct, relevant experience ideally in card acquiring, APMs, gateway and treasury related services. 
  • Experience building sustainable long-term relationships with leading online gaming partners and ability to build strategic executive relationships with partners industry leaders. 
  • Able to quickly form new and meaningful relationships externally and internally. 
  • Willingness and ability to travel.

The Processing Systems team is central to accelerating payment acceptance at Nuvei and its clients. Timely certification of devices and interfaces broadens Nuvei’s solution offering enabling acquirers, processors, and merchants to embrace the latest technologies available. Certifications include compliance to various incoming specifications for transaction processing, EMV/Chip device compliance to the various card brands, and compliance to host/gateway specifications.

Summary of Position

The Manager of Certification Projects manages the process of POS terminal certifications from intake to L3 certification to handover for the production pilot. They will provide technical certification and developmental support to POS product providers and payment gateways; manage the work-streams and schedules, and work to assign priorities based on direction and input from stakeholders; and ensure testing tools and systems are maintained to facilitate the most efficient execution of certification efforts.

Requirements (Skills & Experience)

  • Facilitate the process to intake new solutions for certification to Nuvei’s host and EMV/Chip per card scheme requirements.
  • Review required paperwork to confirm the validity of LOAs and review and maintain other relevant documents.
  • Work with internal and external development teams to provide insight and support of host specifications and EMV processing.
  • Facilitate the process for other team members to execute L3 and other test cases leading to card scheme submission and internal sign-off.
  • Work with stakeholders to align a certification roadmap that supports the needs and timelines of the business.
  • Train colleagues as needed to ensure the highest degree of proficiency.
  • Maintain tools, licenses, and updates that support the certification process.
  • Review card scheme mandates as applicable to ensure test tools and plans, and incoming certifications projects are up to date and compliant.
  • Schedule certification and support activities to ensure objectives are achieved.
  • Identify risks early and craft solutions to mitigate delays.
  • Draft and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure test scripts and processes are current and distributed.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex processing, application usage, or business issues.
  • Escalate issues to the Processing Systems Team to manage issue resolution.
  • Participate in requirements, design, and rollout of new products and services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or Business or equivalent education experience.
  • 4 to 7 years of in-depth technical experience with EMV certifications.
  • Similar experience in payments systems and processing solutions management with relevant knowledge of acquirer processing and networks.
  • Deep experience and knowledge of EMV tags and other relevant elements. Formal EMV training is considered an asset.
  • Prior experience with online payment or point-of-sale transaction technologies is necessary.
  • Understanding of US and/or Canadian payment processing systems and environments.
  • Strong teamwork skills and excellent collaboration skills with the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary groups.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The Product Manager/Owner role will be responsible for specific product portfolio activities related to our Paya Enterprise Platforms. As the Product Manager/Product Owner, you will play the lead role in liaising with the development team, initiating and translating requests into a manageable roadmap/backlog, and new feature creation and definition all the way through general market strategy and commercialization. This role will be heavily cross-functional and will be the “quarterback” for specific activity related to new product creation and enhancements. Additionally, this person will work with department leads and key stakeholders to identify strategy and supporting use cases, relevant KPIs and business requirements for successful product development and prioritization. This person will also be able to competently interface with engineering and development teams to ensure project scoping and delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with and soliciting feedback from internal and external customers to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
  • Defining the vision for the team’s product
  • Influencing the product road map based on this vision
  • Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements
  • Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development
  • Developing user stories including acceptance criteria
  • Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process to deliver business results
  • Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates
  • Participating/leading in Scrum meetings and product sprints
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to achieve project goals
  • Extract and retrieve information and data sets to improve upon KPIs
  • Documenting existing capabilities, and acting as Tier 3/troubleshooting support as neede
  • 2-5 years’ experience as a product manager in a payments related role
  • Knowledge of Payments Industry preferred, either directly or closely related to work at a Software Provider and/or Merchant preferred
  • Virtual terminal, transactional APIs, tokenization/vault understanding, reporting, and transaction reconciliation knowledge is a plus
  • ACH transaction processing a bonus as well
  • Aptitude for business with critical thinking/problem solving capability
  • Ability to easily engage and establish rapport with business professionals – development, clients, and software partners
  • Ability to define and translate a vision into detailed and actionable plans
  • Strong knowledge of Agile principles, processes, and tools (Jira); Agile certification preferred

About the Role

Nuvei are seeking a highly motivated, outcome focused and technically literate Product Director to lead the product issuing launches and product management of our card issuing for both B2B2C (Gaming) verticals.

The candidate would demonstrate thought leadership; proposing product innovation ideas and concepts to help Nuvei issuing scale globally, and achieve our 18 month rolling plan.

The candidate should have robust payments experience, ideally in card issuing, plus demonstrable proof points of past product launches/management, which could be reapplied to Nuvei. This knowledge and expertise is a vital component of the role.

The candidate must have robust product experience across all end-to-end tasks; including, but not limited to, writing product requirement documentation, user stories/journeys and full go to market tasks.

The candidate would effectively lead and partner with all Nuvei cross functional teams; compliance, risk, commercial (BD/RM), other product leaders, engineering and customer support, plus lead the engagement with any external vendors, when needed – processors and BIN sponsors included.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who demonstrates a solution orientation approach to complexity. The candidate will lead, manage and execute the key outcomes needed to build and execute the global issuing use cases; phase one markets include Europe, UK, U.S. and Canada.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the product strategy for issuing, into 2025

  • Continuous understanding of market requirements, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform product strategy and product development and roadmap.
  • Lead and partner on the key strategic milestones for card issuing for the next 18 months.

Product Launches

  • Lead the launch of a card issuing products for B2B and B2B2C segments, ensuring successful market readiness and entry.
  • Remove and solve the launch issues and challenges, build out solution orientation and data led decisioning.
  • Collaborate and drive accountability across the full cross functional stakeholders, with the relative escalations, as needed. 

Product Management:

  • Lead and manage post-launch; continually iterating on product gaps and innovation; driving continuous product improvement.

Vendor and Service Provider Selection:

  • Lead in selecting licenses, card schemes, processors, and other critical service providers to ensure the best fit for the product.

Product Documentation:

  • Define and product technical requirements in detailed PRDs, covering core functionality, compliance requirements plus vertical-specific needs, and more.
  • Manage the approval of these PRDs internally, and support the execution via other internal stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams to develop, QA, and release products, ensuring resource balance and organizational success.
  • Drive synergies between the organization's existing products (e.g., acquiring, gateway, IBANs) and external software providers (issuer processor, card bureau, BI service provider, card scheme).
  • Be able to engage and present, clearly and concisely, to executive leaders internally. Crisp communication, at a higher level, is critical.
  • Approximately 10 years or more experience in product management or related roles within the financial services, payments, or fintech sectors
  • Bachelor’s Degree: In Business Commerce, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fields
  • Excellent communication skills and customer focus
  • Technical knowledge or technical experience of the payment ecosystem is highly preferred
