Specialist III, Experiential Learning Placements
The budgeted hiring range for this position is $26-28/hour.
Position Summary:
The Specialist III will support Experiential Learning Placements by determining location of placement, learner clearances based on site-specific requirements, initiating communication with current and new sites, and communicating cross-functionally with partnerships, Practicum Placements, and Credentialing.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Completes pre- and post-semester projects.
- Maintains communication with new and current sites to build and support partnership satisfaction.
- Monitors site onboarding requirements and updates shared communication digital interfaces.
- Monitors site communication requirements and updates shared communication digital interfaces.
- Monitors rotation needs for the function, based on the geographic location of our partners and learners.
- Monitors rotation needs for the function, based on the course and skill level.
- Monitor preceptor needs in mutually aligned partners.
- Cascades changes and updates through all appropriate channels of communication regarding rotation changes.
- Utilizes portals to maintain support consistency in communication with our partnerships.
- Completes daily audits of placements to identify any needs for immediate adjustment.
- Participates in the successful implementation of cross-functional projects.
- Participates in functional and cross-functional meetings.
- Provides outreach to learners regarding placement needs until resolution is achieved.
- Provides timely verifications for requested information and documents.
- Provides real-time updates to credentialing regarding learner compliance.
- Review and gather compliance statuses for upcoming rotations prior to the start of their rotation.
- Participates in the successful implementation of other functional projects as they arise.
- Attends cross-functional meetings to provide support to fellow collaborators Provides onboarding communication and assistance to learners.
- Complete weekly meetings with counterpart to ensure 100% learner compliance.
- Utilizes cross-functional technology to support consistency in communication and data integrity.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or an associate's degree with additional certification is required.
- 1+ year of experience processing applications and credentialing in an education or healthcare environment is required.
- 1+ year of experience in staffing and scheduling is required.
- Demonstrated experience producing professional communication and correspondence is required.
- Demonstrated experience providing a high standard of customer service.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products is required.
- Demonstrated experience with Customer Relationship Management software is required.
All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will pay for travel and lodging accommodations.
