Team description

Our iOS Team is a great one, and we’re thrilled that we’re growing! We’re a part of Netguru’s Mobile Team, consisting of 30+ experienced developers. We create intuitive and efficient mobile app solutions for iOS platforms, boosting the productivity of our business clients.

You'll be responsible for:

• Developing highest-quality applications for iOS.
• Advising clients in the decision-making process.
• Mentoring and helping other developers deal with different situations in their projects and technology stack.
• Taking the lead in projects and helping Project Managers (with technical difficulties).
• Improving internal iOS development processes.
• Sharing knowledge with the community and/or contributing to an open-source project.

First check if you:

• Have at least 3 years of experience in developing commercial iOS applications.
• Have an excellent command of English and Polish (min. B2+/advanced).
• Are comfortable with process automation using CI / CD tools.
• Have experience and feel comfortable with a complete process of Code Signing.
• Demonstrate knowledge of multiple iOS architectural patterns and the expertise to choose the appropriate one that aligns with specific project needs, along with an understanding of their pros and cons.
• Have extensive hands-on knowledge of:

You’re a perfect fit if you have:

Your responsibilities:

• developing and implementing the highest-quality application software within deadlines and in accordance with our guidelines for high-quality code,
• understanding the business side of the project and being able to lead in-depth technical discussions with partners and customers,
• recognizing upcoming trends and technologies which might be presented to the clients with the right business cases, references and context.
• participating in the documentation and execution of system testing,
• sharing knowledge with the community and/or contributing to open source projects,
• supporting/mentoring developers and other project members (e.g. PMs, QAs, PDs).

☝️Ready to apply? First check if you:

• have at least 2 years of experience and advanced knowledge of Node.js development,
• feel confident in using TypeScript,
• understand design and architectural patterns (microservices/DDD),
• have a good understanding of public clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP),
• have a deep understanding of relational and non-relational databases,
• can write unit and integration tests,
• are able to dissuade a client/team from making wrong decisions based on experience, providing guidance and expertise in your field,
• have practical knowledge of the product development cycle,
• have a very good command of written and spoken English (B2+) and can easily communicate with our clients in English (Polish is not required),
• have knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies.

• Proficiency in Nest.js or Express.js,
• Being an open-source contributor,
• Ability to discover functional and non-functional requirements of an app, based on various levels of inputs from clients,

B2B: 15,600 - 26,900 PLN + VAT

UoP: 13,000 - 22,400 PLN (gross)

The Full-Stack Developer will implement code aiming for an IT solution that meets the highest quality standards of technical usability, user acceptability, and domain suitability, with proficiency in both front- and back-end development.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Full Stack Skills:

• Both front-end and back-end development expertise
• Experience with backend architecture design, microservices, and development tools (Python, React/Angular, HTML5 frameworks).
• Django, Flask
• Understanding of the threading limitations of Python and multi-process architecture;
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient front-end code based on organization’s UI Kit
• Strong unit test and debugging skills
• PostgreSQL, MySQL (and compatible)
• Git, GitFlow
• AWS experience
• OAuth 2.0 through OpenID Connect (Preferred)

• Database Management: Ability to integrate databases and create database schemas.
• mPOS knowledge: Not required, but familiarity is a plus.
• Security: Experience with cryptographic functions, hardware secure elements, and Trusted Execution Environment (TEE).
• Limited Connectivity: Experience developing solutions for low-bandwidth and limited connectivity environments.

• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant IT solutions.
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Integrate data storage solutions.
• Participate in Backlog Grooming and Planning sessions to ensure and validate system capability and design.
• Collaborate with the Product Team to understand business requirements, user needs, and conceptualize innovative system design ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness.
• Work in alignment with other developers to ensure coherent integration with other corporate technology platforms.
• Interact with the global software development community to stay up-to-date with back-end best practices, user interface designs of existing and emerging solutions, and contribute to strengthening the organization's UI Kit.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT Policies and Standards to ensure solutions and services are compliant.

• Solid experience with Google Cloud,

Currently, we’re looking for a purpose-driven Consulting Director that will play a strategic role in our Retail portfolio. We seek an inspiring leader for our talented experts of Engineering and Delivery Leads, who will be accountable for high-level portfolio management, business development and delivery strategy.

What will your tasks be as a Delivery Director? We divided them into four categories: 

Strategy Planning & Execution

• Setting & executing delivery strategies for Retail portfolio to provide our clients with the best possible service and experience (with focus on the product & business value aspect of the proposed solutions).
• Co-creating & executing commercial strategy for a Retail vertical (offering, go-to-market, marketing & business activities, new account research & strategy management, and more).

Portfolio Management & Service Innovation

• Ensuring that project & product management standards and best practices are maintained across the portfolio.
• Being accou ntable for monitoring the delivering quality, profitability, team and client satisfaction on all accounts.
• Serving as the highest portfolio issues escalation point for both teams and clients.
• Actively identifying and removing portfolio-wide & cross-department bottlenecks within Delivery and beyond.
• Driving the continuous improvement of project & product management best practices, collaboration & productivity in line with company strategy & brand promises.

Business Development

• Being responsible for portfolio’s commercial success (revenue, growth rate, margin).
• Engaging actively in attracting new clients to Netguru (prospecting, participating at key sales meetings & events, contributing.
• Building and maintaining long term relationships with key customers from your portfolio & targeted markets.
• Identifying & contributing to potential sales and growth opportunities in your portfolio.
• Understanding and identifying key vertical trends and translating them into relevant business opportunities.

People Management

• Leading, building & coaching a team of Delivery Leads and Engineering Leads 
• Securing a productive, effective and enjoyable environment for project teams in your portfolio.

We want you onboard if you have relevant:

Experience

• Proven track record and 5+ years of experience in leading technology programmes and/or portfolios (simultaneous delivery of multiple software projects).
• Hands-on experience in delivering digital projects (ideally enterprise software).
• Experience in working in a customer-facing environment; preferably with a retail professional services background or retail client portfolio.
• Experience with working with clients throughout all stages of their journey (from prospecting to expanding the relationship).
• Track record of building delivery excellence and a brand that attracts talent & clients to the organisation.
• Track record in introducing company-wide initiatives and structures supported by excellent change management skills".
• Engineering background would be a big asset.

Skills

• Fluency in English and Polish.
• Strong team management techniques, particularly around portfolio health, when to intervene, and ensuring quality.
• Broad business and technology understanding, a good awareness of industry trends and ability to translate them into relevant strategies.
• Strong networking skills: ability to build relationships (prospects, clients, employees).
• Ability to communicate big ideas to varied audiences throughout the organization (across engineering, product and business teams).
