Our Global Outbound Team is now looking for a Outbound Operations Supervisor. This role focuses on customer retention and reactivations, sales operations, and research. It requires experience in outbound communications and sales, along with the ability to implement strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership capabilities, a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, and the strategic expertise to drive retention and reactivation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Team Supervision & Leadership:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Outbound Customer Communications Experts focused on customer retention, reactivation, and insights.
  • Oversee daily outbound operations, ensuring performance targets and metrics are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Conduct regular coaching, mentoring, and training sessions to enhance team performance and development.
  • Manage scheduling, workload distribution, and ensure operational efficiency.

Customer Retention & Reactivation:

  • Develop and implement strategies for retaining existing customers and reactivating former customers, focusing on increasing customer loyalty.
  • Monitor customer interactions to ensure high standards of service and a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Analyse customer data and feedback to identify patterns and improve customer retention efforts.

Sales & Strategy:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to support retention and reactivation initiatives.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities through upselling, cross-selling, and building long-term relationships with key customers.
  • Continuously review and improve sales processes and techniques used by the team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Marketing/a related field or equivalent relevant experience is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in outbound customer service, with a focus on customer retention, and reactivations.
  • Proven experience in sales or sales strategy development, particularly within an outbound operations environment.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience is required.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on coaching and developing high-performance teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage customers.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret customer data, extract insights, and apply them to improve service and strategies.
  • Proficient in CRM software (e.g. Zendesk & data analytics platforms) and familiar with customer service and sales automation tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Flexible working hours; hybrid work policy (remote + office).
  • 22 annual leave days and +2 days for every year of tenure (up to a combined maximum of 28).

As the Offline Marketing Manager you'll provide support to the team at our head office in Sydney (Alexandria, NSW 2015), working across both our mealkit brands Marley Spoon and Dinnerly, as well as our RTH brand Chefgood. This role reports directly to the Head of Marketing and works in close collaboration with Display and Content teams.

Please note this is a fixed-term contract maternity leave cover until the end of August 2025.

Your Role:

  • Manage and steer the Australian acquisition strategy and budget across Marley Spoon, Dinnerly, and Chefgood brands.
  • Execute and optimise campaigns across multiple offline media channels, including linear TV, BVOD, SVOD, Out of Home, Podcasts, Direct Mail, Flyering, and Partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the online marketing team to create cohesive marketing campaigns ensuring a multi-channel approach.
  • Translate wider business strategy into a partnership strategy, identifying areas where partnerships can drive growth and enhance brand positioning and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement, integrate and manage.
  • Manage media agencies to achieve goals and ROI targets with day-to-day project management.
  • Measure, track, and analyse campaign performance and KPIs to drive continuous improvement in ROI through media & creative optimisation. 
  • Work with the creative and content team to brief and develop creative, from flyers to TVCs and OOH campaigns.
  • Identify and leverage new opportunities and emerging channels to drive customer acquisition and brand growth.

  • Minimum 5 years in growth/performance marketing, ideally in direct to consumer or media agency experience.
  • Proficient in media planning, buying, and delivery with knowledge of the AU media landscape and agencies.
  • You have a strong understanding of digital performance marketing and running and optimising holistic, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Proven track record in establishing and managing strategy partnerships that drive business growth and enhance brand visibility with experience negotiating terms and alignment with business objectives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or Analytics preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experienced in using data and consumer insights for campaign planning and audience targeting.
  • You are highly proficient in Excel & Google Sheets as well as a strong grasp of A/B testing and performance marketing metrics.
  • You have deep familiarity with CPA, CVR & LTV.
  • Proven experience in managing partnerships within a marketing context with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Skilled in using analytical tools like Tableau/Looker for performance tracking and strategy.
  • Creative design sense with the ability to brief and feedback on multi-channel campaigns.
  • Experienced in managing media and sales agency relationships as the main point of contact.
  • Up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and always seeking new performance-boosting methods.
  • Ability to work across time zones and participate in weekly evening calls.
