THE OPPORTUNITY
The Sales Support Manager will play a vital role in supporting our sales team and ensuring efficient operations throughout the sales process. Primary responsibility will be to provide support to the Revenue team, facilitate communications between various departments and ensure exceptional customer service. This person will lead and oversee ongoing improvement initiatives, as related to enhancing the customer experience. Additionally, this person is responsible for the day-to-day management and coaching of the Sales Support Team. The expectation is occasional travel to the office and some travel to Montreal and Newport, Vermont.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Domestic Sales & BD, the Director, Sales USSOCOM is responsible for commercial off-the-shelf product revenue and program captures, across the USSOCOM customer groups. The Director will spearhead sales initiatives, develop sales strategies whilst aggressively hunting and converting new business opportunities to orders. Your primary focus shall be on driving revenue growth, expanding market share and exceeding sales targets. The Director will work closely across all three lines of business (Tactical Head Solutions, Power & Data Systems and Advanced Capabilities), as well as collaborating with the International Sales team for Strategic captures and FMS/FMF opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the defense industry, strong relationships with key stakeholders in the USSOCOM Program offices, and a proven track record in sales management and strategy development.

THE OPPORTUNITYResponsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with our key business to business clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions that drive mutual growth. This role requires a strong understanding of the US defense industry, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key B2B clients in the defense sector that provide products and services under existing and future contracting vehicles.
• You will co-ordinate queries & future business opportunities for a group of designated customers.
• Understand clients' strategic objectives, operational needs, and challenges to offer tailored solutions.
• Conduct regular account reviews and strategic planning sessions to assess account health and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute account-specific sales strategies.
• Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and explore potential for upselling and cross-selling.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform strategy and positioning.
• Lead the preparation and presentation of proposals, ensuring they meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
• Proven Customer Service experience skills and customer relationship management in the Defense & Aerospace sector
• 3-5 years of Customer Service experience and >3 years defense and aerospace experience
• Military experience preferred but not essential.
• An understanding of FARs/DFARs, OTAs, etc. preferred
• Commercial awareness and numeracy to analyze reports and understand margins
• Good attention to detail; maintaining our high standards for delivery, quality & accuracy

THE OPPORTUNITY Galvion is looking for an experienced IT professional to join the Information Technology team as a technical System & Database Administrator with knowledge of Infor’s ERP CSI SyteLine and/or Visual Manufacturing. Galvion is involved on a long term project affecting multiple sites that are migrating from on-premise Infor ERP/SQL Server applications to Infor’s CSI ERP cloud solution. This position will have to work out of our Marlborough, MA, Newport, VT or Portsmouth, NH facility with periodic travel to other sites. This is a HYBRID role not REMOTE.
