Overview 

We are seeking a dynamic Product Owner to join our vision of becoming the world’s favorite game site! This role has a focus on live operations and support of our flagship website and Arena product. As a crucial member of our product team, you'll collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to bring our product vision to life quickly.  

Your responsibilities will include refining backlogs, prioritizing features for immediate impact, and advocating for player-focused solutions. With a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making, you will champion initiatives that promptly respond to player feedback and market changes, refining our product offerings for quick wins. Your agile and responsive contributions will be vital to the rapid growth and continued success of Arkadium. This position reports directly to our Senior Product Manager. 

Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with the Senior Product Manager to manage the daily operations of our platform products. 
• Continuously refine the product backlog with stories and epics that strategically target user funnel optimization and bounce rate reduction. 
• Prioritize backlog items to maximize development efficiency and cater to evolving customer needs, with a focus on improving the number of visitors who convert to players, and then into subscribers. 
• Take ownership of epics and user stories within the product backlog, with clear acceptance criteria and success metrics aimed at funnel enhancement and user retention. 
• Own the short-term product focus by capitalizing on quick wins through a keen analysis of user needs, SEO opportunities, core web vitals performance, and web games market dynamics. 
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including partnerships, design, engineering, and marketing, to increase session durations and user return rates. 
• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics in collaboration with the analytics team to drive data-driven product decisions. 
• Foster alignment with internal and external stakeholders by communicating product live operation strategies, roadmap updates, and development progress for transparency and shared understanding. 

• 3+ years of experience in product management/product ownership, preferably within the gaming or digital content industry. 
• Strong knowledge of web technologies, UX/UI principles, and SEO (including technical SEO and core web vitals) 
• Excellent analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making. 
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills. 
• Ability to think strategically and creatively, with excellent problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent knowledge of digital platforms (web, Appstore, etc.). 
• Experience with agile or other project management methodologies. Knowledge of how to maintain a backlog, prioritize features based on business and customer impact, implement customers feedback is a must. 
• Experience in advertising and/or subscription industry is a plus. 
• Experience in casual games is a HUGE plus.

Overview

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a small, multidisciplinary team of engineers specializing in DevOps, AdTech, tooling, and automation. This includes direct oversight of software solutions, ensuring that our systems run smoothly, efficiently, and with optimal quality. You will take ownership of our DevOps discipline, ensuring the seamless operation of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud operations. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in Azure and DevOps practices, coupled with excellent leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, managing recruitment, performance reviews, and career development.
• Architect, develop, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration, testing, and deployment processes for all applications and services.
• Manage and configure Azure services, including VMs, App Services, AKS, and Azure Functions.
• Lead Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives to automate provisioning, configuration, and management using tools like Terraform.

• Expertise with: Git, CI/CD tools, and CLI tools; Containerized environments and Kubernetes troubleshooting; Azure (preferred) or other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP); Scripting/programming languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.); Containers and orchestrators (Docker, Azure Kubernetes Services); Azure DevOps; IaC tools (Terraform); Web services (NGINX)
• Experience automating workflows.

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of talented engineers dedicated to ad technology, as well as DevOps, tooling, and automation. • Oversee and lead a team of software engineers in ad tech and other technical fields, handling recruitment, performance management, and professional development. 

• Oversee the development and maintenance of advertising systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.

Overview

Arkadium is looking for a motivated and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic QA team. In this role, you will have the chance to work on a variety of exciting projects, with a focus on automation. While our primary tools include Cypress and Playwright, you will have the flexibility to explore and integrate other testing frameworks and tools, depending on the unique needs of each project. This could include established solutions or modern technologies, giving you the freedom to innovate and adapt as necessary.

This position will allow you to contribute to multiple high-impact projects, where you will play a key role in crafting and implementing innovative quality strategies. You will collaborate with diverse teams, combining your automation skills with manual testing to ensure top-tier product quality.

While this role is remote, candidates must be available to work standard hours from 09:00 to 18:00 in the Western European Time (WET) zone - (Portugal time zone), where most of the Engineering and Product teams are based.

For candidates not residing in Portugal, you will be onboarded as a full-time contractor through our international payroll provider. 

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress, Playwright, and/or other frameworks deemed relevant for the task at hand.
• Perform manual testing (acceptance, functional, integration, regression, and compatibility) as required to ensure the thorough testing of products.
• Analyze both manual and automated test results, prepare reports and communicating findings to drive continuous improvements in product quality.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, collaborating closely with development teams to ensure timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality strategies tailored to each unique project.
• Balance manual and automated testing approaches, ensuring the right tools and methods are applied to each project.
• Contribute to the development of the overall testing framework, helping to explore and integrate new testing tools as project needs evolve.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior QA team members, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Build and integrate automation tools into the SDLC, optimizing processes across the board.
• Foster a quality-first mindset within the team, helping shape and implement testing strategies that align with broader project goals.

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, OR equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with strong skills in both manual and automated testing.
• Strong experience with automated testing tools, such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium/Appium, Puppeteer, or Robot Framework.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proficiency in modern web technologies, including HTTP(S), JSON, XML, and RESTful services.
• Strong experience in cross-browser and cross-device web testing across multiple screen orientations, including mobile.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in English.

• Experience with backend testing (Swagger, API testing, stress/load testing, etc.).
