We are actively seeking a full-cycle Accountant/Bookkeeper to become a part of our team. In your role at Amaze, you will handle a range of financial and accounting tasks to support a healthcare startup. Your responsibilities will encompass cash flow management, accounts payable processing, maintaining the general ledger, conducting bank reconciliations, and generating financial reports. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with strong time-management abilities and effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with both the accounting team and other employees across the company.

  • Collect, monitor, and report daily cash activities while adjusting cash forecasts as needed
  • Process, maintain, and report all accounts payable records and payments as required
  • Prepare month-end internal financial statements, including balance sheet account reconciliations and income statement analysis, along with forecasting
  • Create any accounting ad hoc reports as requested by management and clients
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information in an easy-to-understand format.
  • Accounts Receivable duties to include applying incoming cash to customer accounts, workflow management and responding to customer inquires as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements 

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping position
  • Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, or other accounting software
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Must be based in Denver and willing to work in the office on a weekly basis
  • An associate's degree in accounting, finance, or business management is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred
  • CPA (current or expired) - preferred

Willing to consider candidates who are interested in working a minimum of 20 hours per week with the ability to flex up to 40 hours, as needed.

Pay for this position is $55,000 to $90,000 - depending on experience, education and certification(s)
